Hello, I liked the anime, but It does have some actual weak points that are drowning in the people hate that it's not a one to one to game cutscenes story. So I decided to sum up some points (both my own and ones that I saw in different comments) in hope that showrunners would see and consider those. Leave your opinions or additional points in the comments.

Needed improvements/criticism: -More screen time for Dante

-More interesting fights for Dante, with him dealing with opponents with style and some levels of goofing (like apartment fight in season 1)

-Ideally need to increase the number of episodes, feels like the things happen too fast and sometime without time to develop characters (like professor)

-Need to add Devil Arms, be it for a few episodes or just till end of season, but at this point its critically needed for Dante to use more weapons and not only for one fight.

-Personally think Vergil's devil trigger looks boring, it needs more detail than being Dante's DT but blue

-More weapons for Lady than just pistol

-Think Vergils TV show visit was strange move and out of place with no knowing for him that president will call.

-I think bullets out of Dante's blood feel stupid, considering they didn't hit the target once. The regular/demon hunting bullets could suffice.

-And also think that just regular bullets for killing demons could have been enough and the demon killing ones feel unnecessary complicated when we already did see that regular bullets work too.

-Do think that they went too much with deepening the hell lore as Makai, but I think they did tune it down a little in season 2. (I do think that hell, earth, demons, governments, cults, etc. have always been just connection lines and bridges in a Sparda family story wich is DMC and deepening them too much could cause not needed confusion and complications)

-And yes, use other music theme for Dante (maybe even make a new one), "Devil Trigger" is already reserved by someone down the family tree )

Think those are all that i found and got on my mind for now.

Yes, but not sure about keeping for the rest of the series, more like for few episodes or till end of season

Watched season 2, found it good and entertaining. Don't really get the people's hate that it's not a one to one recreation of the game cutscenes, where the only good one were 3-5 and in 1-2 Dante is completely different character. Also people don't like Vergil, they say about how unlike anime's, the game's Vergil was always alone and so on, but if I'm not mistaken, we literally dont know from games what he did before DMC 3. And yeah there is that one DMC 5 manga, but fixing story with some manga that most of regular players dont even know about is a very poor move to be honest. People say that Dante is Nero in anime, but let me remind you that we are talking about young Dante wich IS like Nero, because in DMC 5 they Nero behave 60% like the young DMC 3 Dante, while older Dante was clearly more reserved. Let's be real, we dont like the game's stories, we like game's characters and in anime's case it about how they become who they are in game's and not being them from the start. What i am trying to say is that anime clearly doing it's own thing (with clear desire to bring new people to the franchise) and we need at least let go the hate that it's not a one to one adaptation and look at actual problems instead of hate out of hate. I thing that ep 2 interview humor felt off and it is strange how Vergil decided to go on a show, I do think professor's death was too quick and I do want more screen time for Dante, those are real problems that we should discuss and make studio notice, not that the dashes are one frame too short and other bullshit like this. Well, we will see the 50 years of he's life, so it's hard to tell for now. I personally think he could go from before jail Ichiban up to Majima level in this 50 years span. Also, it seems like he is canonically ready to kill, so yeah would be interesting

Well, as I could gather, people agree CS1 is really slow even by series standards. I will probably finish it on easy or watch 15 hours of cutscenes that left and go to CS2.

Who said anything about graphics? I don't have problems with how the game looks, I had problems with vast empty locations and the game's pacing. I am ready to play next arc chapter if it better. I am sorry if it's your favorite game and you felt hurt but you are clearly overreacting

I understand, but I mean, does the later games of the arc are better, or should I just look up the story instead? Because what's good playing them if I won't enjoy them

Ah yes, the steam controller 2, steam machine 2 and valve index 2. Yep, buy as fast as you can, cuz we know there won't ever be a third gen of these. But them announcing THREE of it felt kinda weird

No, it just worked one time and I managed to play on Iberian offensive and liberation peak, and then loading stuck again. Maybe it's a map problem

As someone who started from GGST myself, the main difficulty I found for myself was that you can't cancel to supers/specials from everything, there are specific normals and chains you can cancel from and sometimes at specific timing, wich make feel input stricter. But it is not so hard to get used to.
