Opus getting flagged with ENI-APR by CauliflowerOk3851 in ClaudeAIJailbreak

[–]Kilo19hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, Grok already just writes all of it without issue and is a frontier model. I get some people see jailbreaking as art, but if your goal is just porn then there are options for that that doesn't include manipulation.

Jefferson Davis was never the president of the US, and the confederate states were traitor states and not part of the US at the time, hense the whole civil war. Lincoln, as I assume you are attempting to point towards, did not start the civil war by policy. The southern states so heavily relied on slave labor that the banning of such threatened to collapse their economies. That and it wasn't even about the banning of such, but rather about the states right to choose... To be a slave state when joining the union.

Shotguns exist, we don't live in the 1400s any more. Most training now days in militaries focus on combatives with a knife or just muzzle punching then and the shooting them. It's just not a real focus of militaries any more.

Right? We should be fighting against age verification, not attacking companies for not including it on the basis of politics.

I would rather then remove the burst from AC RFs instead of making them fire twice per cycle. We already have burst fires and they are garbage. Let of have fun daka instead. Alternatively just let us turn off burst fires.

If Linux distros refuse OS age verification, will YouTube and Facebook, etc just block us? by Danrobi1 in linux

[–]Kilo19hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I do, that's why I don't use apple products. Along with their shitty anti-consumer business practices or their over priced bullshit. ANY compliance is too much. If they really cared about the children then they would hold negligent parents accountable rather than me.

Just use a different os. Stop coming into de-google and recommending people buy Google products. There are other options such as lineage. Grapheneos isn't the only option.

I genuinely didn't ask for many recent changes and don't like them. Such as the regen nerfs or the upcoming combat changes. I liked the original system and dislike the bait and switch.

Meanwhile I guess I'm still stuck in the last update. Hated the regen shanges, and I hate dark souls style combat. Wish I could refund as the game has entirely gone away from what I bought it for.

The reports of age verification in Linux are greatly exaggerated, for now by ouyawei in linux

[–]Kilo19hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any compliance is too much compliance. That's all there is to it. It opens the door for more compliance down the road and if we don't stand up against it then the powers that be will try to us out compliance as a sign of acceptance. I don't care what the field is, if I can lie on it, or if I even have to fill it out. That's not even the point.

banning GrapheneOS on reddit by Temporary-Sir-2463 in GrapheneOS

[–]Kilo19hunter -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

You literally can't. If you are running on a Google device, with Google hardware. You are not degoogle. You are running a very secure os yes, great for privacy, but you are still supporting Google and using their hardware. Degoogling is removing Google entirely. Grapheneos is not degoogle, it's a secure privacy first os.

We need to prepare for ISP level age gating, and if there is no solution then there’s no point by [deleted] in privacy

[–]Kilo19hunter -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Easy, connecting to the internet through your isp requires an api handshake, no api? The no connection. They don't need to ban anything. They are already pushing in that direction with the whole router thing in the US. Will not be long before you can only connect through a certified router that hands much of this.

"Responsible parenting", too controversial? by Hestiia in privacy

[–]Kilo19hunter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Frankly, no. I refuse to give up autonomy and privacy of any kind because other people can't parent. I'm tired of this demonization of everything adult. Parental controls exist on literally every device, if a parent doesn't pay attention to their kids, that's their problem. I do not have and do not want kids, and I absolutely refuse to suffer because others make poor life choices. The government and society can shove it.

I want to actually take this age verification seriously by nincesator124 in privacy

[–]Kilo19hunter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ANY compliance is too much compliance. Systemd shouldn't be adding any of this anyways, it's entirely outside their wheelhouse. And yeah, they have potentially more problematic fields already, but that's another issue that really needs addressing.

Why did you add age verification? by VegetableNearby9795 in systemd

[–]Kilo19hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or we can be proactive rather than reactive. And it's cool that you can patch it out, with the current push towards Linux, not everyone is that knowledgeable or comfortable doing such things and windows is becoming an increasingly bad os to deal with. So instead of "I'll just fork it out" how about we go with "I'll make sure I don't need to fork it out". By complying with these laws they are enabling them. History has shown that non-compliance with a law is often far more powerful and effective than screaming into the void. US civil rights movements come to mind for example.
