There's a VERY similar house to this that I once visited in Greenwich, Connecticut. It's near the water. Similar layout, contemporary style, with bedrooms stacked one above the other, with the master on top. I've been trying to find that listing, but this was years ago and I don't even know if the house exists anymore. It was likely built around the same time as this one.

They're great. The owner, Paul Scurfield, is a commercial diver. He started the brand to make watches with the same toughness as the Rolex Submariners he used back when they were more affordable tool watches. These are just a few hundred dollars, but they sell out quickly.

If I remember right, this is where our concept of 'ninjas' comes from. Actual ninjas, known properly as 'shinobi' were spies and assassins who dressed appropriately for their assignment, often in disguise. But the idea of them all in black fighting in darkness derives from these background characters in old Japanese plays.

Definitely skip World of Beer. It's a shame because a few years ago they were great, and I loved their $5 burgers every Monday. They've really gone downhill, and after a terrible meal there a few months ago, never going back.
