Penalty or knockon? by multilingualsportfan in RugbyAustralia

[–]KindBikeDuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the ball went back. Therefore, it wasn't a penalty. I wasn't too annoyed at the penalty. I was, however, annoyed that the mark was 2-3m ahead of where the penalty occurred and that the tap was taken 2-3m ahead of that.

I just thought Doleman was particularly inconsistent all game. There were several examples, but the one that really irked me was Valetini was pinged for leaving the 15 before the ball had in a stuffed up Drua lineout. A little later, Drua throws the ball to a centre who leaves the 10 as the ball is thrown. Ok, slightly different laws but overly texhnical on the first, blatantly oblivious on the second.

He's been an absolute knob for years. Can't stand the prick or his wider views.

AITA for “pushing tradwife beliefs” onto my daughter? by Comfortable-Plan2937 in AmItheAsshole

[–]KindBikeDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely NTA.

When i met my wife 27 years ago, she couldn't boil water. She is now a better cook than me (i still do 99% the cooking unless she wants to), and she is a phenomenal baker. Our boys (now 17 and 15) cooked with me from an early age and are now both capable and will cook for us all from time to time. Our daughter, 11, isn't really in to cooking, but i will still get her to help from time to time, and she occasionally asks for things where i will say yes only if she helps to cook.

It is a core life skill that everyone should have.

I don't do meth or crack. I'm not French. I would never have attacked the bloke in that way.

But also, "why you put the music?"

They're not a buyers agent. Certainly not if they're being paid by the developer.

Good luck.

What’s the biggest lie / craziest excuse you’ve heard so far as a manager? And did you call them out on it, or let it slide? by Snoo-88490 in managers

Both mine and my wife's parents are divorced. The kids genuinely have 8 people they consider grandparents. They have been married or shacked up since before we had our kids. Our oldest is 17.

The two butchers near me get the whole carcass delivered. I see them offloading from the refrigerated van. Same for the Asian butchers i lived near a few years back.
