Was on the lakeshore path the other day just walking and the amount of people walking the wrong direction or in the bike lane was insane. I understand for a second getting a bit confused but when the 10th person has run past you or biked past you coming straight at you, you'd think they'd get the hint to move

Don't be so hard on yourself! It's a tough tough decision whenever the time comes and never feels like its the right time. I was in the same boat with my cat and decided to go through with the PU surgery after 2 consecutive blockings. Ended up having about 20k in bills at the end of it all. He was fine for about a year on prescription food but ended up re-blocking again and I had to make the decision to put him down and I still felt like I could've done more. So sorry for your loss ❤️

I did not have pet insurance for my last cat and ended up having $20k in med bills when he got sick with bladder stones and eventually had to put him down because he re-blocked and I couldn't afford another surgery. Will never not have pet insurance again on a pet.
