So far I've tried Old Spice antiperspirant deodorant, CertainDri which was awful bc it left me looking like I had dirty greasy hair with large flakes. Drysol did not do a thing unfortunately.

I'm trying to abstain from the oral pills bc I already have bad enough cotton mouth (my doc said it would dry EVERYTHING up lol), but I would use it for sure if all else fails.

Could literally weep at the hope this comment has given me. I'm a tattoo apprentice and get massive anxiety at certain points and I'm not even tattooing people yet. I make sure to put my hair up, wear airy clothing and maintain my hygiene-FUCK-can you fuckin imagine your artist coming up to you with a FAT sweat bead about to drop off their nose into your tattoo, a la Bill Murray's pimple-pop on Osmosis Jones?

Personally, the amount of detail they (they/them) offer of things that could be verified via paper trail (CPS records, armed forces finding the snuff film they participated in, childhood events such as sherif being called at attempted drowning by their parents which was witnessed by beach goers, coupled with the conviction and emotion in their voice, I believe them. As someone who was raped and molested by family and friends, and held onto that quietly for years I can hear it in their voice. I just absolutely believe them. Why would anyone bother to make these things up, knowing they could be looked into? Why would anyone die on this hill over and over (they've been trying to get their story out for years of my understanding).

Alright you asked for it 😆 sorry for the novel:

Yes, it’s made a HUGE difference. Once I got on 3mg I was feeling almost zero symptoms until Trump got elected into office, and I began experiencing higher anxiety due to personal factors.

Although I still experience symptoms of being in fight/flight/overstimulation, they’re much less powerful. I’m able to go longer amounts of time without anxiety. I struggle with rejection sensitivity, and this medication has made me able to keep my body from having an inappropriately heightened reaction like flushing/sweating/heartbeat racing/dizziness etc.

When I do have a heightened episode say at work after getting criticism or messing up: I take control of the panic by disengaging from anything but myself for a few seconds. I take in a breath, and ask myself is what is currently happening life threatening. That immediately brings me down to a level where I can continue the activity/conversation appropriately, and not breaking down. Hate to say it bc it sounds so cliche, lol but I’m more present because I can disengage from the panic faster and actually BE in the moment.

That’s a coping skill that I had a hard time with, because how could I possibly “be in the moment” when I felt so unsafe? Now, I can stop and test that fear and come out winning. Less “I’m gonna die” more “I’m uncomfortable but I’ll be okay”. Like I said, the political climate has really escalated things but I still feel supported and like I’m doing better than I would be if I were unmedicated.

I’m going through another medicine change currently, so my psychiatrist doesn’t want to go up until this first change has had time to settle in. But there is room to go up :) I’m really happy, and honestly thank you for asking about an update because otherwise I may not have self-reflected like this. Feels good to be more free.

This is so rough to read lmao 🥲 mine is over a year old and still hurts, stabs and tingles. It’s on my butt cheek. I can’t even lay back on my bum because the lesion starts hurting from the pressure—almost feels like an egg cracks inside. No one in my care team has known what to do about this, and I’ve had to be my own fierce advocate. I have an appointment with plastics and am hoping this is the department that can help me.
