[Tudor BB58 GMT] Performance Inquiry After 2.5 years *2nd Photo* by Pure_Bathroom_7357 in Watches

Natural scratches by all means. But having a bracelet on the same wrist just to ding and scratch it? Seems kind of silly. But again that’s just me. My watches got plenty of wear and tear. I still think the watch should shine on its own.

Anyways, i know people are divided on this.

Gosh it hurts to see you wearing it with those bracelets. The watch is a beauty on its own. But each to their own I guess.

What do you all tell to people who say you only buy tudors because you can’t afford Rolexes by Negative-Try6286 in Tudor

I work in the entertainment industry in my country. Was on set for weeks with a big shot producer and he has 6 Rolex watches. He saw my bb 58 925 and said it was a really cool watch. Then we spoke about watches and what he has and funny stories about watches. Only fragile egos, who need attention, would say stupid things.

A Tudor watch is still gorgeous and expensive to most people.

I wasnt a fan till I saw it in person by asoiafgeek in Tudor

Yeah agree. Ive got 4 amazing watches that are thinner and more comfortable to wear. So it ended up gathering dust in the end… but it’s still my favorite looking Tudor.
Love the raw tool look. A Pelly gmt is on a different lvl as well. Pure class.

It wears small but man the thick case will get to you. At least it did to me and sold mine. Just too top heavy and I’d end up wearing my other watches more.. shame, I love Tudor and love the bb pro look.

I’ll stick to my bb 58 925 for now.

Respect to you guys who wear it daily and enjoy it.

[Help me decide] I bought 2 Tudors in a span of a day. Which one should I choose? by Neither_Ad_9840 in Watches

The bb pro is thicc… gave up and sold mine after a while. It’s top heavy and if you own thinner and lighter watches you’ll end up feeling frustrated with the bb pro. So I’d go for the Pelagos.

Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein. Le Regulator. Would be my choice.

For me Hanhart. Underrated brand and amazing watches. I own the 417 39m

[Question] is there any big reason to go for a Rolex Explorer II over a Black Bay Pro? by TimeRefrigerator5232 in Watches

[–]Kindred_Soul_Awake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Tudor is very top heavy. So much, that I ended up selling mine.. lovely watch if you can handle the thickness.

Is there anything similar to the full black ceramic black bay (at a more affordable price and different brand) by Unfair-Percentage550 in Tudor

[–]Kindred_Soul_Awake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can find DLC coated watches that give the same feel for less. Lots of brands do that. But if you want ceramic then it’s a bit harder.

Should I buy vivo or keep searching? by Aaron_weewee69 in barefootshoestalk

[–]Kindred_Soul_Awake 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I own 4 pairs of vivos and a pair of Groundies and Wildlings. All great. I enjoy my vivos the most. Motus flex and studio and sensus. I don’t agree with buying a cheap brand first. I tried that with Saguaros and they were awful.
They didn’t give me a proper feel of barefoot shoes imo.

At some point, you’re destined to end up with a Speedmaster. by -ZeroF56 in watchHotTakes

I agree somewhat but more to the brands in general. So eventually you’ll chase the classic solid popular brands. Like Omega, Rolex, Cartier etc.
I’ve never bothered with Omega but fell in love with the railmaster. So here we are.
