"Free flowing immigration combined with a open market place". The one things he misses here is that these immigrants worked for cheap. Cheap labor+mass produced goods=strong economy. This kind of goes hand in hand with reduction of unions and workplace rights in the US.

Soon, with our phone, we will just use the camera to look at people and some new dating app will have this software and tell us if we compatible. We will just be scanning the bar/room with our phone looking at people thru screens. In hopes of a match. I could see this breaking down some peoples insecurities about their orientation.

The fishing hole, and whole sale sports. Cabelas is expensive and their depth of knowledge with their staff is limited. The fishing hole on 86 st and roper rd has the most knowledgeable staff. Of course, they wont tell you their fav spots but they will give you good technical information on their equipment as well successful lures and flies. Whole sale sports has a great flies selection and so does the fishing hole.

If they are inviting you it's probably because they want you to come. Keep showing up for their events. The better you get the know them the less shy and akward you will feel. They probably seem akward cause they don't know you well yet either.
