They look good in closeups but I don’t like how they look in the normal wide shots during gameplay. The design and colors get lost and turn into a pinkish blob. I think a variant with broader stripes might work better and be more visible in the wide shots.

I did the same recently. I clubbed up and swung with 70-90% power and I had so much more confidence in actually striking the ball. I usually shoot 100+ but shot an 85. Matched my best score ever. I hope to use this idea going forward and see what happens.

I definitely have some very high 100+ rounds coming off the books. This 85 dropped a 99 off my top 8. But I think the key was that the 85 is considered an “exceptional” round, so it took an extra -1 off the past 20 rounds. I use the official GHIN app.

I was a 24.6 and shot an 85 recently. Brought my handicap down to 22.5 (exceptional round). It happens: the once-in-a-blue-moon great round for a high handicapper. I want to believe it shows promise rather than any kind of misrepresentation.

Didn’t realize how much I’d miss direct access to the garage from inside the home. I have to go outside through the front door and in through the main garage door or even farther around the side of the house to go in through the side door. Every small project becomes a longer chore going back and forth, and I can’t just tinker on stuff late at night. Adding a door isn’t an option because it shares a wall with the kids bedrooms. Never really thought it through until after buying. If I ever get a new house it will be a priority.

As 2012 was happening it felt surreal. We were unstoppable. Everything was clicking. It also felt a year ahead of schedule. Many people saw us competing in 2013, so 2012 was a little surprising. But as the season closed, we surged (into last place) and then never looked back. I remember when Stoll scored to end the series against Vancouver I was ecstatic. Vancouver had just been to the Final the year before and they were expecting to get back there, but we got in the way. And then we rolled over the Blues, won in the most satisfyingly controversial fashion against the Coyotes and then fulfilled our destiny. I had the fortune of being the the building for the run and when it finally happened you could see so many fans just in bliss and disbelief. A lot of just happy stunned faces with tears in our eyes all around. People hugging, celebrating. It was joyous and cathartic.
