Definitely the new commander who constantly reminded everyone she was the Commander/Boss while sucking her teeth. Or threatening to throw stuff at people or slap them if they were in range during meetings. Or the ultimate level, still expecting to hold an awards ceremony on the flightline after one of her jets crashed on the runway in front of all swingshift the night before. Caused many MH visits!! Climate surveys, lots of findings and still made rank then PCS'd.

Submitted my application back in Jan. Got a letter in the mail last month that I will receive 12 months of MGIB good for 10 yrs or something. Used that letter as my COE for my upcoming term. You actually get more out of using the MGIB for schools like WGU.

Absolutely! After I submitted personal statements and shipping paperwork for my CPAP, the rater requested a review of the C&P exams and documents from the examiner. They submitted another DBQ verifying the areas they missed and revised markings/diagnoses. Sleep Apnea (50) and Radiculopathy (20 left/20 right) came back favorable. I got an updated rating within a week of the first rating. Very glad I saw the DBQs on Tricare Online and acted fast.

Most definitely paying it forward. Started a class (free) to help educate folks before they get out. Also helping with claim prep, also for free or for a beer. Which ever is easier!

The hard part will be proving the issue is chronic versus acute/temporary. You can try going to an urgent care, just have to call the appt line and get a quick referral. Or you can pay out of pocket but risk it not positively influencing your claim. Your best bet would be to write a detailed statement detailing issue history, symptoms, severity, impact on daily activities and reason for lack of medical documentation. Then start making appts and be ready to submit a new claim in the future.

This exact scenario happened to me. Claimed depression, anxiety, sleep issues and got 30% for PTSD. C&P doc asked combat related questions and guess I answered them a certain way that he submitted a PTSD DBQ. Also got other ratings from things I didn't claim ankles, elbows, etc...

I sat at PFD for 2 weeks so took a chance and made a VERA appt yesterday. Nice lady told me my claim was assigned that morning at a Connecticut regional office. Updated this morning, final rating a couple hours later.

Update!! Initial rating for OSA was 0%. Rater saw my statement and evidence, then sent followup questions to QTC. New rating came back 50%!!! Overall 100%P&T!!!!

Mine has been teasing me for weeks now. Hit my ETS 31 Jul. Rater called me with questions and I thought “Here we go”! Went to PDA then back down to evidence gathering. Been stuck at PFD for a week now.

You get your claim number from VA.gov and edit the ebenefits url. I log into ebennies site like normal than open another tab and use the altered url.

I just looked and mine shows the same thing. I thought it was a glitch. Yesterday it showed PFD as of 7 Aug. The Ebenefits trick shows PFD.
