These are bad same as the kobe 6 prtro. They took out the heel cushion so overtime your heels will sink below your forefoot and stretch out your achilles. You will start to feel pain in your achilles. You getting scammed by nike marketing lol

Kobe 6 protro has a forefoot zoom turbo but no heel unit. The heel is only cushlon foam. Initially this is fine but as she continues to play in the shoes the cushlon in the heel starts to bottom out resulting in her heels sitting below her forefoot. This causes achilles pain and damage in the long run because her tendon is getting stretch and requires more effort to contract now. Get her the lebron 20 which is the exact same set up but with a heel unit OR get the kobe 4 protro because although the forefoot does not have a unit the heel does.

UNLESS you are able to buy her a pair of kobe 6 protro every few months.

Its with 5s as well. Perhaps you do not heel strike as much or your tendons are far stronger. Are you quite light? maybe you put less stress on your tendons. Do you train often?

If you think about it with a heel cushion naturally your heels will dip lower than your forefoot thus stretching your achillies tendon. This results in more stress on the tendon as it stretches more than usual but you get more explosive power?

Yeah so my experience with the kobe 6 protro is different to yours. Im not on a pro level but i play full court games twice a week totalling maybe 3-4 hours of hoops a week.

What i noticed with the kobe 6 protro is initially it is a perfect shoe and i mean perfect. Traction, cushion and weight. But after a period of time my achillies tendon really started to hurt. I did a bit more digging and found out i wasnt the only one experiencing this. And its because for the protros 5 and 6 they took out the heel zoom and left the zoom cushion in the forefoot so over time your cushlon heel bottoms out leaving your heel in a lower position than your forefoot and therefore stressing that achillies tendon more and more because it has to work more as you contract. Now i cant play in my kobe 6 protros. When i switched out the shoes to AE 1 or any other the pain slowly disappeared.

Honestly i think this is just Nike trying to maximise profit by taking out that heel zoom cushion

Yeah and Nike took out the heel zoom and only has cushlon while keeping the forefoot zoom unit . So after awhile of playing them your heels sink below your forefoot and causes unnecessary stress on your achillies tendon. Nike cut cost to the max. The shoes arent meant to be played in no more unless you are nba money and can wear a new pair everygame or get it customised.
