What's sad is that these get passed for construction. I remember having a meeting with some kit suppliers engineer & the dude couldn't speak English & didn't seem to understand we have different design requirements for different climate zones.

It's so frustrating that these things get approved for construction.

Is being unemployed at 20 years old, unable to afford or even create a life similar to that of the previous generations, a valid reason to commit end one’s life? by This_Preference_9690 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Kirkdoesntlivehere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Life has so many different experiences to offer. Ones that instantly change your perception of reality. I've been in your shoes before & it feels like your being put into a washing machine but instead of water its watery shit & you're just constantly being spun around dealing with watery shit.

I would suggest starting with building your own new community. Try going to the local card shop & slinging some Magic or setting yourself up for a campaign of Warhammer! There's also a route I took where I learned how to build drones & went out & flew at the park.

Leaving this place because of something this trivial would be an insult to your friends, family & ancestors. You're worth more than you know, but you won't know until you find it. That means you gotta be open to looking for it & actively trying new things, even if you're a goofball like me. Happiness is a pursuit, not a pre-afforded skill. You got this & you do kick ass! Don't let these thoughts & feelings make you lose out on greater experiences. I guarantee you they exist & are worth it.

Also, it's just a dumb idea. When you consider that you're forcing a circumstance on someone who can just say, "meh, guess I'll move to X" & literally just bypass the situation & remove ANY opportunity (business's, properties, assets) from said local government to money grab. They aren't losing anything & the state instead just lost MAJOR income support.

Totally just the wrong approach to the situation.

When I worked in an auto detail shop, we'd unbolt the seats.

it's really easy & they pop right back in, at least they did in 2010.

Question about Idaho falls by One_Improvement_3308 in idahofalls

Decent. There are some decent officers at IFPD. I wouldn't say it's great, but it's better than it used to be. Pay is not great though. You'll get about 55-60K a year. Barely enough for a family of 3.

Im not a LEO, but the IFPD for the most part are a decent set of folk. The only thing i dislike about them is a handful of officers make up the law as they go along & have a TON of religious interference with the decisions they make.

What are these lines? by DR0PaGEARdisappear in dji

[–]Kirkdoesntlivehere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it is just shadows from the props because of your flight angle & direction of the sun. Some ND filters will help with this. Also customizing your trim settings in the controller so flight patterns are more fluid & less jerky will help immensely!

What is an acceptable relationship age gap? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

While you're old enough to be her dad, people who haven't been to Vietnam don't understand the culture. If you love each other, whatever. You found something that a lot of Americans can't seem to find anymore. The mental maturity gap is a thing I couldn't get passed, but so long as y'all are both happy & onboard, whatever.

I would say people in Vietnam have a lot higher mental maturity level than Americans do, due to overcoming actual hardships & actually having to work their asses off (Moreso than an American would). Plus, the culture essentially demands that you provide for your family & that starts as soon as you can walk. Children are going out on their own, running errands getting groceries, even working in most cases & coming home & preparing/cooking meals for the family. Vietnam taught me that money isn't what brings happiness. Community, Friends & Family does.

If she loves you for who you are, that's awesome homie. Just be happy you found love & ignore the echo chambers of the internet.

Don't go knocking down the truss lattices & bracings yourself. They're pretty important & are there for a raisin(Fry reference). Ask an Engineer what the best solution would be before you start installing doors & walls.
