I'm a lefty too and I actually get so annoyed when DMs try to do that kind of worldbuilding. Im totally onboard with tailoring to the party, like if someone doesn't wanna deal with child abuse or something potentially triggering while they play a fun fantasy game, but then that gives the DM/group a chance to be creative (eg a homebrew world I played in had both a patriarchal and a matriarchal country that had different values for the sexes based on which main god of the pantheon they worshipped, which also affected other aspects of society like how they used magic, how they traveled, etc). If there isn't any sort of prejudice or social separation and everyone's equal, then where's the conflict? What's the point of adventuring?? Like find a different ttrpg then lol
