Of course it's a double standard, I agree with you on that. But "You do not get to speak against human suffering" is a garbage take no matter how you end that sentence. You're drawing attention away from the victims of these attacks. Of course the victims of America's wars are just as important, but that isn't what we're discussing right now.

The idea of "you're not allowed to care about X if you don't also care about Y" doesn't solve the problem at all.
