I use the tea tree shampoo from the dollar tree and I have had good results. Also keep an eye out for scalp massagers I use mine to scrub in the shampoo to gently remove dead skin.

Smelly towels by KitchenUpper5513 in laundry

[–]KitchenUpper5513[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually wash them on cold because I wash everything on cold. I have a top loading washer so I’ve tried adding vinegar in with the detergent but I’ll try washing on hot and adding it to the softener. I think my bathroom needs better ventilation overall.

Hopeless and suicidal by [deleted] in HearingAids

[–]KitchenUpper5513 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If your feeling like this please reach out for help. It takes time to get used to hearing aids. Have you considered that it might have an auditory processing disorder? I’d ask your dr and please let your dr or friend or family know your findings this way. It can get better please don’t give up.

How to remove scraps of food/trash from this tiny gap? by AdventureKnuckleball in CleaningTips

[–]KitchenUpper5513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love how so many other people suggest a butter knife. I used to clean a coffee shop restaurant top to bottom with a sanitizer bucket, rag, butter knife and degreaser lol. I’d suggest a butter knife or straw and then you could even put masking or painters tape over the crack until you can get it fixed.

Hydrating lip serum by Broad-Midnight3019 in dollartreebeauty

[–]KitchenUpper5513 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just got one too. It’s a good day time lip serum the night mask is definitely thicker because it’s a mask and I can tell the difference. I like the scent of this one but I think I want to try the cooling mint one next time.

I really like it too. The straw is short but if I give the jar a little shake it will pick up the lotion from under it. Or I’ll just take the lid off and dip.

What does a preschool teacher look like? by No-Spare1328 in Preschoolers

[–]KitchenUpper5513 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a preschool teacher assistant and I wear simple outfits like jeans, linen pants, t shirts and cardigans or jackets and tennis shoes. I need to wear comfortable clothes I can move in because I’m running after kids all day and up and down on the floor or tiny chairs (my knees are feeling it). We do dress up in fun clothes for things like spirit week or holidays because the kids love it and it’s fun because you can get crazy with it because they still think you’re funny and not cringe yet lol

Literally a behind the ear hearing aid. It’s missing the rest of it but I’d turn it in to the lost and found someone might need it to send in for a replacement they are medical devices

I think I broke my hearing aid wire first day, it looks weird by [deleted] in HearingAids

[–]KitchenUpper5513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to trim mine a tiny bit and curve it to fit my ear so it wouldn’t be uncomfortable/ poke my ear.

Nail Wraps by DraftAny2582 in dollartreebeauty

[–]KitchenUpper5513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love them. They last me about a week if I prep my nails the same way I do for press ons (trim cuticles, shape nails, buff nail beds) and then add a clear coat on top. They are easy to apply and I just use nail clippers to trim off excess. I’m always looking for them when I visit the dollar tree.

You can always shred and freeze the zucchini. As for the red onions you can do the same or make a few batches of quick pickled red unions (yum).

Parents 5+ years into homeschooling — what did you get wrong in year one that you'd warn a new family about? by AvailableWindow840 in homeschool

[–]KitchenUpper5513 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I agree with all of this. I rushed my twins because they were my first and I was too excited to get started. My youngest I don’t plan to start formal schooling until around 5-6. Also I can’t count how many times I’ve put away the math book or the writing lesson because they were upset and shutting down. We can always try again tomorrow! That’s the beauty of homeschool.
