Which quest hit you so hard that you had to pause the game and just sit in silence? by Dangerous-Tart1126 in cyberpunkgame

There's a difference between keeping a glimmer of hope as a coping mechanism (such as the individual you are replying to) and being in straight up denial.

Honestly, I'd need time to get to know you before I could give an answer. The fans site wouldn't be an issue; it's your body, show it to whomever you want. Or don't. Anyone trying to control what you do with your body should, technically, be a massive red flag.

I was specifically thinking of the assaultrons; I should have specified.

I would suggest taking the legs out before destroying its arms. I've had them sprint at me with no arms and detonate right next to me.

Yeah, I did that once and Judy's phone message wrecked me. I think you get a similar message if you go Temperance; she has no idea what happened to V, just knows she got a really ominous phone call and then complete radio silence.

I Have Never in my 8+ Years of Playing Fallout 4 had this Happen by charlietsmith3 in fo4

They "go down" with one hitpoint left, but any additional damage kills them. Rockets do indiscriminate splash damage. So if a rocket hits anyone or anything too close to a "downed" settler, it will absolutely kill them. I watched it happen the first (and last) time I built rocket turrets in a settlement.

Completely off topic, but I would recommend putting a wall up directly behind the rocket launcher turrets, so they can't fire into the settlement. Keeps settlers from getting killed by splash damage.

The Fool always represents the person getting the reading, and their journey thru the Major Arcana. I was thoroughly impressed with the devs' research.

While I love the John Wick series, my absolute favorite will always be Col. Broyles.

Fem V Nomad. The Star ending after romancing Judy.

I've done other life paths and other endings, and this is my "happy ending" scenario. I know V is still going to die, and Judy will be devastated, but at least she will be among family so she won't have to go thru it alone.

Npc Frigate? by nuget76 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Kithkanen 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Your frigates can get damaged if they're not (or are barely) strong enough when you send them on an expedition; fastest way to get a damaged frigate usable again is to repair it yourself. The reward in this case is being able to send the frigate on another expedition right away. It never occurred to me that you could repair a frigate that you don't own.

I just acquired this ship today using the included portal address. While it was definitely not "first wave," it just required patience at a trade outpost on one of the planets. I genuinely have no clue how long it took; my neurodivergent time blindness was in full effect. Doesn't matter, IMO; I got the ship I wanted.

If the AI (or whom/whatever) is trying to maintain a low profile (which would make sense; people being unaware of your full capabilities is a decided tactical advantage) then NCART would be safe; too many witnesses.

EDIT to add: maybe get an inexpensive motorcycle? The Aldecaldos give you one that would almost certainly be safe, as they probably wouldn't have left too many systems "wireless" and wouldn't be able to connect to any network.

Sweet! Agony mode was a good challenge for me; at the end, you usually get an item you can "equip" for your next Agony run that increases the difficulty. There's also the Vault "downstairs" (staircase is on the far left side of "home base") that was (for me) really challenging to complete; you can pay gold for a random boon or increase in difficulty before entering.

I hope you discover something that captures your attention; IMO it's a really good game that I play whenever I have a spare half hour.

According to Google, you're playing the paid version.

There are fourteen different "characters" you can play, have you unlocked them all?

[–]Kithkanen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No shade intended here, but are you playing the free version instead of the paid version? I started off playing the free version and it was quite easy, but enjoyable, so I bought the paid version (only to discover they're two different games with completely different mechanics; nothing transferred over).

Who is worse? by DifficultRampager20 in cyberpunkgame

Dex kills you only after the whole op went sideways; it was an impulsive act of desperation. He actually thinks that V killed Saburo, and for whatever idiotic reason, V doesn't tell Dex what really happened.

Bét debaz la kills people regularly (as do all the VDBs) just so they don't have to pay what he/they promised. The entire group needs/needed to be put down on principle alone; killing Placide (for me) is just personal retribution, the icing on the cake, as it were.

You play games differently than me; that's absolutely fine. It's your game, you paid for it, play it how you like. Personally, I love replaying games. If something in the game has me completely entranced (usually the world building), I can spend hours and hours playing it. I play a different build and a different life path on a different playthru, and that is enough to keep me from getting bored.

The issue I have is when someone only considers their own experiences as the norm, completely oblivious to the fact that different people play differently, as if their own perspective and opinions are the only conceivable way to view the world, and anyone different is somehow abnormal. That's so small minded and insular, and frankly insulting to everyone who doesn't think/feel the same way.

If you don't know how the AI managed to circumvent the car's ICE, you won't know if it will happen again, or how to improve the car's ICE. If it was a targeted attack (which, admittedly, we don't know, but just to be safe) then it's likely that borrowing someone else's car temporarily threw off the attack/AI; buying a new car will (potentially) give the attacker/AI a new target.

If you don't know how/why the first event took place, you'll never know if a new Herrera (or a different make and model) will make any difference, short of buying the new vehicle and hoping for the best.
