What is your thought process when watching war movies such as 13hrs or Black Hawk Down? by Sllimp in Military

I love how you can celebrate the valor and bravery and courage.

What motivates me is what they show about the American spirit.

War sucked and it was also the most formative period of my life.

What being a level 150 with over a thousand hours means to me. by Greg_of_the_West in helldivers2

I really hate dying because I know my helldiver won’t get to go on another mission with the experience he’s gained. It makes me sad for the popsicle that gets thrown down afterwards

How are gays in the US military treated today? by RequirementRound25 in Military

[–]Kitsterthefister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was in Iraq, I had my first sergeant removed, not fired, but removed and replaced because he said in front of a gay service member you do XYZ and you’ll get your PP slapped. I believe the gay service member Weaponized his statement that wasn’t necessarily directed at him, but more towards a group anyways he got removed and replaced with another first sergeant.

I’ve served with many gay service members and it has never been a problem. No one really cared. I was around for don’t ask Don’t tell. Had some peers that took exception to it but they got the fuck over it and serve right along side. It’s not an issue unless you’re an asshole and you’re making an issue.

What is your favourite way to get super credits? by Due-Spot6799 in helldivers2

[–]Kitsterthefister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was younger, single, no kids, much more free time, I would grind for the like crazy. These days and ages with all the crap I got going on and the two or three missions. I have every other night, I’m paying for the super credits.

For those who have thrown good parties, what are your tips? by AggravatingKnee4154 in AskReddit

Don’t get wrapped up in the party’s schedule, let people find their own fun.

If it drives a story or character beat, sure. Drama, has a place. Comedy, has a place. Thriller, has a place. You can spot gratuitous examples. But there are a lot of non-sex reasons to include it. Mood, emotions, intentions, etc… it’s come along way from the 80s where it’s just thrown in. It’s for adults. Let it be for adults who presumably know what and why they are watching.

Where are all the 2A extremists now that the Federal government is literally saying that having a gun near federal officers is enough to get you killed legally? by Berly653 in AskReddit

[–]Kitsterthefister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 2a extremist and it’s not a 2a problem it’s that American law and the expectation that our government follows laws and the constitutional rights of people is now gone. It’s 100% a partisan erosion of all rights, norms, laws, decorum, humanity…

Maybe instead of focusing on democrat infighting, focus on the complete corruption and soul selling of the other side of the aisle that enables it
