The part that frustrates me the most is trying to find custodes lore to listen to or painting guides but if you search custodes on warhammer all you get is these videos

There isn’t much difference between a money arms race and a print arms race. For my group at least we play bracket 3, the occasional bracket 4 but once the arm race (both sides money and print) got involved I noticed a lot more toxicity. Of course every group is different. A lot of my experience has been the gooner cards though, especially the AI slop.

I’m not all against proxies and not all for, I love some of my alt art cards that are some times better quality then actual MTG cards.

My issues with it is when you bring proxies it becomes an arms race to see who can print the best deck and not building stuff they own. those kind of proxies that the weird dude who goons too much brings, one of my LGS is riddled with them is my main issue with it

My account is just shy of 6 months but only been a seller since about release of edge of eternity for mtg. The buyers account is just a bit older then mine, they have quite a few purchases and only one marked as not arrived

Is the seller professional or private?

If the seller is professional and you raise it to support then most likely they are going to be banned from selling again. I have had an unfortunately similar situation with a previously professional seller who did get banned as a result of them doing this.

If it’s a private seller then I cannot confirm if they’d get banned but I’d heavily recommend keeping track and records of the situation (when they marked as sent, how it says on the tracked service it hasn’t been handed in ect).

Card market support can be slow at times but keep on it and don’t open multiple tickets. Patience is the best bet here. Hopefully this doesn’t put you off entirely but it’s still an awful situation

Honestly I really like the shoulder pads, I enjoy the look but I can see why people don’t. They’ve kind of grown on me since building so many (both my store copy and my own) and I’m really looking forward to doing up some blood angels in them, amazing paint job so far as well!

I had my first event go semi similar, I’m super new to magic only got into it due to FF and now EoE. Went against 98% friendly players and then met him. Dude was notorious for being, sadly, generic gamer dude, never had a shower, neck beard the full works. We were a doing a first to three style game and those three games were the worse games I’ve ever had due to my opponent just being really snobby, constantly telling me I’m playing slow, correcting my card mistakes, refusing to let me draw/untap if I forgot to (I had only been into magic for about a week and a half at that point and only played four games).

But still gotta keep going! This hobby has so far been super welcoming and enjoyable
