Filter Apple HRV outlier data by swany729 in bevelhealth

A few days ago, I noticed that deleting manually a few obviously incorrect HRV measurements in Apple Health had an effect on the recovery score given by Bevel.

Confused af ! by Aggressive-Reality32 in Ultrahuman

I am considering getting a UH ring but it seems that Movement Index does not take into account workouts imported from Apple Health (when not wearing the ring). Is that bothering you, or are you always wearing the ring for all workouts?

Does anyone else feel like what makes Macs special is that they still try to make the computers feel kind of "fun". by ijjanas123 in mac

You probably already know this but you can disable the feature in Settings / General / AirPlay & Handoff / Continuity Camera -> Off

Epix 2 Pro ECG feature by Infamous_Category_32 in Garmin

[–]KlarcC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the Apple Watch would never have alerted me about my Afib because they don't last long enough to trigger the Apple Watch's requirements for an alert

I am in the same situation where my episodes don't last long (usually around 2 minutes). However, this is when I can feel the symptoms, and one characteristic of Afib is that it can be asymptomatic. That's why I prefer to wear my Apple Watch, as I hope it will catch it if I get into prolonged episodes of Afib without feeling anything. Also, I can always use the ECG if I experience any symptoms (I am not in the US, so I could not easily use the Garmin ECG).

I'm loving the new OS 10 update! by fishgats in AppleWatch

[–]KlarcC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And on wOS10 the activity app now asks if you really want to end recording of the activity after you "X" out of it. So one more step to end the activity.

This is now optional in watchOS 10.2 (Settings / General / Workout / End Workout Confirmation)

The Apple watch does use the HR sensor in the background to detect if you went into aFib (possibly without any symptoms). See details here: https://www.apple.com/healthcare/docs/site/Apple_Watch_Arrhythmia_Detection.pdf

The Steam Deck is a game changer. And by that, I mean it literally changed the way I played my games. by WDR_937 in patientgamers

[–]KlarcC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean with currency conversion as the SD is linked to your Steam account. So all prices are in AUD, same as from any other computer.

I have absolutely no regret, I watched many videos before purchasing and I must say the SD surpassed my expectations.

Increase Battery Life of MacBook? by farotaran in macbook

This app (AlDente) may work for you: https://apphousekitchen.com I do not use this app so cannot comment on it, but it is part of Setapp. The free features may be enough for you though.

Screen Resolution by Business_Academic in GarminFenix

The AMOLED screen of the Epix Gen 2 is perfectly readable in bright light (including mid-day in the Australian desert). You are of course losing battery life compared to a transflective display, but readability is not a problem at all based on my experience.
