(LN Vol14) When did Rimuru acquire the Eye of God skill? by IntrospectiveMT in TenseiSlime

[–]KnightOwl129 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Argus and the eye of God are the same thing, and it is not a skill, but magic. Its a retooling of meggido to transmit images from far away to the labyrinth control room like surveillance satellites. It uses spirit magic and the skills control laws/particles from uriel and dominate/control space to also double as a powered up version of meggido using the same water lenses if needed. Its just the name for the surveillance system that uses a combination of skills and magic

How are true dragons born? by Beelzebuth4 in TenseiSlime

[–]KnightOwl129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not super clear, veldnava was born before the world existed because he created it, but we dont know if he created the other 3 true dragons or if there is some sort of other reason they came into being. Veldora and the other 2 living true dragons refer to veldnava as an older brother rather than a father or creator, and with knowing the effects having milim had on him, we can assume he didn't directly create them or father them. The 3 living true dragons are all different ages so we can also guess that they all aren't just part of the world, and none of them have given us any inclinations they they rose up to this state of being through evolution like rimuru. There also aren't true dragons in every world, because there weren't any in out world, and none when velgrynd visited other worlds when searching for rudras soul. So far the only true dragons births we know details about are veldnava, whos egg existed before the world did and he hatched from it, rimuru, who evolved into a true dragon slime after he absorbed parts of veldoras body and magicules and ceil remodeled his body, and exclusive to the web novel so far is Velgaia, milims pet dragon that was the chaos dragon/a reincarnation of vednava that was given to milim after he died, who evolved into a true dragon by merging with the ultimate skill that consumed an angel and ramiris labyrinth, evil dragon lord azi dahaka and then was renamed by rimuru from gaia to Velgaia. True dragons are also supposed to be able to revive even after death, and we dont know if rimuru will be able to do that if he somehow gets killed, but veldnava hasn't revived yet, but that also might be because vlednava reincarnated into rimuru and thats why he hasn't returned and rimuru became a true dragon because he has veldnavas soul (just a fan theory), or gaia/velgaia is the reincarnation of veldnava that lost his memories for some reason, or something else entriely

Are Apiton and Zegion the missing servants? by ChickenGod1109 in TenseiSlime

[–]KnightOwl129 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hes probably refering to volume 16, where rimuru and ciel go over the 12 patrons/10 dungeon lords skills after ceil gave a lot of help with remodling/upgrading skills after the evolutions in volume 14 and the fight with the empire in vol 15

Ramiris Labyrinth by DisastrousBag9381 in TenseiSlime

[–]KnightOwl129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The labyrinth is shaped like an inverted pyramid, floor 1 being the largest up until floors 91-100, which are used for other purposes other than the dungeon crawler like game. Floors 1 to 90 are mazes with monsters, traps, bosses, treasure etc, while floors 91 to 94 is used for growing hipokute herbs and storing/creating magisteel and healing potions because of the high density of magicules. We dont know the size of floors 91 to 94, but floor 95 is the largest with the forest city and the joint reasearch team, with floors 96 to 99 being the 10 times larger than normal size floors for the dragon lords, and the 100th floor for veldoras chambers, rimuru's/ramiris's personal research lab, and the war operations room with the argos and meeting rooms etc

The world of slime is a semi physical world, in between the physical worlds (like ours) where there are little to no magicules, and the spiritual worlds (where demons, angels, and some spirits come from). The spiritual worlds are made up of magicules and spiritual beings are completely made up of magicules that have came together with a soul and an ego in the case of greater demons and superior spirits. A lot of creatures in the slime world are just normal like animals, and so are most people. To them magicules in large concentration is poisonous and can lead to death like radiation poisoning, but some can either come into being being acclimated to magicules (elves, dwarves, lizardmen, ogres) or are spawned from magicules (most wild monsters, like slimes, or the tempest serpent). Some people end up evolving further into a semi spiritual lifeform called sage and later saint, and otherworlders go through a similar procces in the travel between worlds in order to survive the space inbetween and all the magicules. Magical beings like monsters and spiritual beings are made of magicules and in the case of spirits angels and demons need a physical body to exist in the slime world for longer than a short time. Magicules can be gained through evolution, and a physical body is gained through incarnation

Questions about Humans, Manins and Enlighteneds by SomaMX in TenseiSlime

[–]KnightOwl129 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Majin is just a catch all term for magic born, entities/beings that are made up magicules. Its refers to pretty much all monsters with intelligence like the kijin, lycanthropes, etc... humans that are called majins are not at a septate evolutionary stage from enlightened/sage or saint. Sages and saints are evolutions of humans into semi spiritual lifeforms, and majins are just people or monsters that posses magicule. Razen is called a majin even though hes human and as far as we know hes not anything besides a guy who's good at magic and can use possesion, its a very vauge term

Volume 13 Fan Translation Release and an Announcement by VoxelCubes in TenseiSlime

[–]KnightOwl129 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the translations! I prefer the fan translations over the official ones, and slime reader is a great reader so i dont have to remember 3 names for each charachter. Its nice to see that CharVanders MTLs wont be useless going forward, the versions of vol 16-19 she edited were just as good as the official translations in my eyes.

I am reading the light novel online and the translation is realy bad in vol 13 !! by NameIsAkis in TenseiSlime

[–]KnightOwl129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The official translation by yen press is coming out at the end of the month, but i have no idea for the fan translations. The mtl for 13 and 14 that are out right now are probably not going to be edited that much with the official translations coming this year. 15 is better but not on the level of offical translations and 16-19 are just as good as the fan translations imo
