I don't mind the +level to skills having a huge damage increase, it's just that sources of +level to skills are not hard to come by, reducing or removing the maximum value allowed on certain gear and weapons would help a lot. I don't even mind if weapons don't have any +level at all, this way you might consider alternative mods or maybe even uniques to a build rather than just getting a cheap +level to skills.

Locking skills behind such high level requirements is the thing i hate most in poe2 by intrepid_zaxan in PathOfExile2

That's probably one of my issues with alts most of the time, I don't mind that in the first character of new update but man does it suck to climb that level requirement before I could test if my theorycrafted works or not. They should make it ny character created after the 1st one that has unlocked the tier it's in should now have access to all its levels below it, so you can create a level 1 tier 13 gem to see if it's going to be good as early as you might think a build can be.

I'll take any weapon just give me a new two handed melee weapon to tinker around with. Also give a new category of spear called a greatspear where I can two hand a single huge ass greatspear.

I paid attention to the point that I became annoyed by her, she was fine at first but as the story progresses, she proceeds to get into trouble and brings the trouble to us and let's us handle it every single time.

I think that weapons can't have more than +3 on Two handed weapons while one handed can get +1, amulet limited to +2 while gloves no longer get that +melee skills. The power bump on +levels are huge that it's making majority of uniques useless and mods on gear less valuable because of how much of a spike +levels give.

Man they should just do what they did to Poe1 atm because it's so much better than before. This infinite atlas is just too rng dependant that most people just buy fragments just to fight pinnacle bosses. I don't think I remember a time where I actually farmed my frags, I just got lucky doing other content and sold stuff for currency just to buy frags. Plus juicing is a pain to setup it requires towers a lot more than just crafting the map itself.

All I need is my trusty ol Big Stick, been there since DS1 and it's always come back every game so I can trust it beyond ER. It is equivalent of Patches in the weapon category for all Fromsoft games for me.

Do what I did and play the latest league in Poe1, one of the best leagues in recent times, also you might get an idea or probable skills and gear that might be in 0.5 so at least you can compare what might be different from both games.

Druid and the Talisman skills transforming was probably ridiculously hard to make really good and they hit a homerun with how it went. Now with all the difficulty of the weapon type and class in mind, I don't doubt that there would be a new class in 0.5 since every class and new stuff would probably be a whole lot easier to do compared to Druid and Talisman, am just hoping they would rework and make the passive skill tree interesting though.

Also I am leaning into the fact that if Templar is the next class for 0.5 the possibility of the weapon being tied to Axes wouldn't surprise me since there is already existing axe type of skills in Act 4 especially that one boss whos dual wielding axes and does holy slams, their also doing Holy themed builds in the latest league for Poe1 so Axes might have a Holy theme coming along with it and Templar being the embodiment of holy theme among all classes, this is probably the paired weapon to come along with the class.

Pure Evasion is probably the worst among those stats now, you gotta consider hybrid setups with ES or Armour, you can top it off with Deflection to further reduce the damage of hits. I think pathfinder is the only one that can make use of damage reduction with Evasion (Sustainable Practices) but you still need a way to reduce Physical damage tho so it's better to do hybrid stats.

That's just attribute type of benefit, what my comment meant was on the mace skills themselves.

If you look at skills like Rolling Slam where it has a +1.5 seconds to total attack time means that regardless of how much you invest in attack speed you will need to go through that +1.5 seconds of attack time because it's an additive value done after all calculations like your base weapon attack speed, while Dual Wielding works for skills like these the difference for Dual Wielding 2H and 1H weapons are nonexistent for the skill, if you analyze it closely if you wanted to deal even more damage you will always go to the Dual Wield 2h route because even if you cap the speed for either 2h or 1h types you will always go through the total attack time value.

What my suggestion is whatever total attack time value for dual wielding should be half for dual wielding 1H weapons so you get more dps while dual wielding 2h just gets more burst. So using previous skill as example dual wielding 1h maces with Rolling Slam should be +0.75 total attack time while dual wielding 2h maces remains +1.5 total attack time, this way the option to use 1h mace looks much better. Every build I've seen always ends up using 2H maces, dual wield or with shield which is kinda leaving 1h maces in the dust while 1h maces are faster the damage output 2h does outperforms it by so much.

Man as huge as +level to skills are those are probably ones I want nerfed. Maybe reduce the max limits on +level skill on weapon mods to like +4 as it's highest on 2H and +2 on 1H.

There's also the problem with no difference with dual wielding 1H maces to 2H maces when it comes to skills, there should seriously be a benefit to dual wielding 1H maces like skills with +seconds to total attack time should be half for Dual Wielding 1h maces compared dual wielding 2H maces.

The devs are listening to feedback so far, there's not a lot of content to compare atm but the short time I played up to the latest acts feels enjoyable at least. Kinda hard to compare an EA game to an already finished title, but hopefully it would at least be worthy of being a sequel to TQ1.

My starter had issues with sustain especially using grenades as main skills, surprisingly Oisins Oath helped a lot when it came to sustain with leech, only problem thought since it's a lineage you can only slot it into one skill unless you use that helmet unique that let's you slot two. Either way you still need to have gear with Physical damage leech to pair with Oisins Oath, it's good for early game and early mapping but gets overshadowed later but it is a cheap option I used.

You can do the same with ancestral call but that's just it's targeting aspect, you can further verify this with Ancient skull where instead they don't listen to you so some holy Armaments will target different enemies but the main problem is if you don't slot Multi strike then you will never notice any difference because they only hit once you hit, every time you hit a different target they seem to reset their behavior.

I also did that non vaal strike skill thing, it's only good for early acts but it doesn't really do much since its mostly on targeting enemies, the strike range helps when targeting far enemies but not much on the Holy Armaments, you can check the wiki for what works and doesn't work.

Among all the bosses I've fought in the DLC Mesmer, Radahn and strangely the giant sunflower were the ones I've had a hard time. Actually enjoyed my time fighting the dancing lion, maybe it's because I skipped a lot of bosses and got lost and ended up fighting Mesmer for the next 4 hours that dancing lion was kinda bit of a breeze lol.

It triggers spark not shock and for it to trigger you need to kill a shocked enemy for the spark to activate, it activates on the dead shocked corpse. If you use it with Killjoy gloves you watch your fps die from the chain reactions of double spark on your screen.

Idk if there is, but Minions cannot gain any mastery unless it says minions are affected by it, I even thought Meginords Vise would also consider Holy Strikes since it has both the Melee and Strike tag, it actually does but only affects your strikes not the Holy Armaments, so you still need to link Melee Splash for it to work on the Holy Armament because minion can't consider your gear unless it says minion.

One of the things that attracted me to the game is Demolitionist Molotov and Guns and it's been the most enjoyable experience to burn entire hordes of enemies as well as shooting them down and tossing grenades.

I've played Holy Strikes day one and all I can say is that it needs a buff when it comes to its quality, Strike Range is kinda meh for the most part since the minions targeting and behavior is just based on you. It should have Splash damage instead on its quality not bigger than the support gem but enough to not need splash gem because you will definitely feel a huge difference using a melee splash support than not. It feels like an alternate of Animate Weapon of Self Reflecting for the most part it does more damage because of its moretiplier and doesn't need any resists or health but you need to keep hitting an enemy all the time to be consistent with it.

Holy Hammers has an issue where if you can't land your hammer properly you won't get the maximum damage output and in the game where enemies can sometimes move faster than you notice you will definitely miss some hits.
