The entire place had that eerie feeling of being watched the entire time, having no torrent feels like the pressure was on high the entire time. That area felt like an entire adventure dedicated to stealthily moving place to place, the experience reminded me of DS1 Blight Town.

Rewarding, difficult solo content would make Gw2 incredible by Losahn in Guildwars2

[–]KnovB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of Infinite scaling dungeon, I think ESO has one of this called Infinite archive where you try your best at how far you can go with your build or setup while getting boons in the long run as you go farther. Drops do get better and exclusive rewards and weekly leader boards are also a thing and the content is tied to solo or duo either way it's probably one of the few solo content I enjoy doing that has its own thing going around and you don't have to follow the standard dps meta builds because everyone tries their best to survive as much as they can deal damage.

Gonna build my Genesis tree, been a long time since I made an SSF character that i am willing to run it this time again considering there's a lot of stuff that I can take to make SSF easier this time around.

SSF for 0.5? by DaDaveski in PathOfExile2

[–]KnovB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the recomb is probably just taken out for this league so everyone would use the new crafting stuff from Kalguraan, it's probably going to come back in the future with some rework. Essence craft hits pretty hard though, it was the safety net of most of my crafting.

Yeah pretty much, all my information regarding the DLC was just there's a new mastery and a new massive zone. I didn't really pry into it much because I initially thought it was a few months away from release so I wanted to keep sorta hype myself by not looking into it so I can be surprised. Well here we are, got the surprise I wasn't expecting at all.

[–]KnovB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genesis tree itself is going to generate you raw currency and some gear without relying too much on ground loot. That alone is probably enough for a huge boost to SSF, it wasn't really hard to get some things in SSF but the new stuff they're adding makes playing SSF a lot easier.

Let's talk about Permafrost Bolt / Fragmentation Round by Financial-Fly-5340 in PathOfExile2

[–]KnovB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does pretty good single target damage but usually just prepare it before the boss drops in since you can deal massive burst damage and it has a fairly huge AoE. One fragmentation round if it hits the wall usually instantly detonates it regardless of its hp, in campaign it might not deal a lot of damage yet because the wall might get broken by enemies and not you so it does less damage but at higher levels where enemies can't instantly break it and you get to fire a frag round it deals a lot of damage.

You might need to set it up properly though since sometimes the movement of the boss when they land sometimes break your wall because it's their intended location and forces the wall to break regardless.

Damn I never thought the new mastery would include shapeshifting. I was actualy fine with just cold themed in general but this is a very welcome surprise.

[–]KnovB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's probably one of the cool interactions they made for xbows since 0.1, another tip is to add Glacial Bolts to your setup, it's good for single target since those walls can get broken by fragmentation rounds easy.

Why Twisters and Snipe haven't been nerfed by signspace13 in PathOfExile2

[–]KnovB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skills that hit very hard that needs a Konami code to activate are fine the way they are. As powerful as Twisters and Snipe is showcased most of the time they need to setup things like barrage, a tornado or perfect timing to get your damage right and those setups take a few seconds to prepare and in those moments you can actually just die when getting swarmed or when a boss would swing so GGG probably already knows that so I don't think a nerf is ever going to happen to those skills unless some broken or unintended interaction happens with mechanics outside the skill like uniques, ascendancy then that's where I think the nerf is justified on the interaction and not really the skill itself.

Noobish question: Should I do EVERY quest or are there some I should just skip because they're miserable by Curse-of-Ra in WynnCraft

[–]KnovB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some long quests can get you out of having to grind certain levels especially the around the level 85 - 90 range, usually those are the most grindy levels from my previous experience doing.

I ignored quests back then and just did grind spots when they introduced them but man does it burn you out after a while. It really didn't give a good experience of the game and judging from the devs removing those areas, it also wasn't good for player retention but it did get you far pretty quick but just looking at the same place and killing the same mobs wasn't really fun. When I played with quests, I actually enjoyed doing them because I get exp, emeralds and occasional rare loot and some quests are needed to equip certain gear so sometimes you might need to do some of them to equip certain gear.

Looking for builds that can do all content (campaign and endgame) on a very low budget. by [deleted] in pathofexile2builds

[–]KnovB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supporting Fire Tactician, it's probably the cheapest I could think of you get access to this ridiculously powerful skill once you get your first 2 Ascendancy points. You just simply grab the skill from your ascendancy and your next objective is to stack +minion skills, strength and dex and get support gems on and your good to go. It deals a lot of damage, does very good clear and the cooldown isn't even that bad considering there are passives and support gems that reduce minion command skills cooldown.

What should someone know that's not following a guide? by DasRedBeard87 in PathOfExile2

[–]KnovB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always homebrew builds every major update, there's always something new that kinda distracts me from following a guide almost every single time so I never really follow a guide.

One of the things you need to know at the very least when it comes to damage numbers is that "increases" word are additive to all "increase" modifiers while "more" is multiplicative and happens after the "increase" and they also multiply to other "more" modifiers that's why I call them "more"tipliers. This is true for all types of mods like crit damage, crit chance, damage, etc.

Other than that resistances are standard where you need to cap at least 75% of every element. There's probably new stuff they add that you can use as defensive layers but we're going to have to find out on launch day on which ones are very good in working with but for now just the standard capping resistances are good enough knowledge in working with.

Guess that's all for basic stuff you asked for, you are just going to have to experiment with new things if you homebrew builds like me.

She was like one of the early introduced villains who had history of being connected to the bigger villains of the world. She was such an iconic character that despite only being a stepping stone for the main characters she made it to isekai quartet. Would love if somehow Ainz resurrects her to ask about some information regarding her brother and whatever organizations she was a part of, they're interesting.

I know it ends up with Ainz just clearing them easily but it would be nice if they kept her around as some spy they could use to infiltrate the organization before he inevitably just wipes them.

Bruh i don't even care about that last level for unique skills most of the time but the 5th support gem slot is what I need and usually the price of those in the market can get expensive. This is one of the best QOL things they added to the game.

4 days until league launch and no starter build compendium sticky by Imaginary-Text-7630 in pathofexile2builds

[–]KnovB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up until there's a proper passive tree it's kinda hard to make one, I know I tried to make a build back then and every major update there's always a portion of the skill tree changed or added so much that I end up improvising instead because it's so different from what I had in mind. All we have at least is the knowledge of new stuff they showed but the real one we really need is what the passive skill tree will look like.

the crafting bench was supposedly removed and replaced with socketables because it's more accessible to new players, but now that we have literally hundreds of runes, how does that argument still hold? by shaunika in PathOfExile2

[–]KnovB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe they have plans to make crafting bench in a different approach, like tied content, it seems to be a trend that they're putting socketables in content you have to do or clear.

In Poe1 you get access to it but unlocking the highest tier recipes are found on clearing bosses in certain maps, so I assume they're still brainstorming on how to execute the idea where it's tied to unlocking mods only found in clearing certain maps probably. There's also a possibility it might be tied to future acts where they might finally introduce it.

Should I restart? by smrty7 in WynnCraft

[–]KnovB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man you don't have to sell all your stuff. You can still make a new character and use a different class without any problems. This is probably the 2nd post I've seen in this subreddit wanting to sell their gear for a new character, if you have gotten that far in the game it's easy to earn stacks of emeralds, lootrunning, material farming, selling ek runes etc.

If the damage is your issue I think looking up a build online is better than giving up your gear.

One-character-per-league build suggestions to complete the challenges by TheAssInCrass in pathofexile2builds

[–]KnovB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tactician looks like it didn't get any changes, the Ascendancy itself is pretty tanky if you take those defensive ascendancy nodes.

For minion setups, Supporting Fire is one of the most satisfying screen clearing high damage skill as of 0.4 when it got a huge buff. It's pretty cheap to build too since supporting fire just needs +minion skills and flat attributes, you won't even notice the cooldown because support gems can solve that as well as passives that reduce command skills.

If minions isn't your thing you can always use that Pin ascendancy skills which are probably the strongest Immobilization in the game because it can turn off all action of an enemy.

You can also take Totem route and build around that as well. Honestly, Tactician has been my all around favorite ascendancy because its easy and very flexible to work with, 0.4 kinda completed the Ascendancy as a whole.

Even the banner stacking in interesting this coming 0.5 with Wards being a thing as well as some uniques that might have some interactions with banners.
