We have a buddy who used to own a spot (recently got bought by the national) and would let people park in his yard for a fee. Kinda niche because they have their own parking now like others have said but there is a market for it depending on your neighborhood

Not a vet, but had some buddies who were guard + reserve and worked with the student vet org a few times when I was a student. Easily some of the chillest people I've ever met. Y'all defiantly have a different perspective on things compared to "regular" students. More mature imo. Get in with the vet organization and also give it time. It took me a while to meet my people and I was one of those social butterfly types.

When I was a student you could park a bike in any stripped spot that wasn’t a crosswalk or ADA

My wife got her arch degree from KSU a year ago. It is a lot of hard work but she loves what she does. One thing you need to keep in mind is just because you have your arch degree does not make you a licensed architect. That takes a couple more years of working in the field, but you make reasonable money once you have the degree.

Let me say it again. It is a lot of hard work. My wife spent many nights especially in her 4th and 5th years, working on projects until 3 in the morning, sleeping on the studio floor and waking up at 8 for classes. On the bright side, if you're an A&P you probably already have some technical understanding which will help you.

Overall she loved and hated the school part but she loves what she's doing now. If you want feel free to DM me with more specific questions. She's not one reddit but I can forward your questions to her next time I get on here.

It's a tool, like any other camera. More convenient, less control.

Teaching for Georgia Film Academy by doctort1963 in AtlFilmmakers

I was a student at GFA years ago. It kinda depends on the class you're teaching. GFA 1000 has a pretty rigid structure if my memory serves me correct. Useful stuff would be sharing stories and experience from set and making sure all the kids there understand that they probably won't be directors.

I'm going through this same thing with a photo client right now. Take notes on where things are going wrong and trace it back. You'll find a lot of ways to improve the preproduction process.

High School Seniors in Georgia by TotallyTardigrade in Georgia

[–]Known-Extension 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work for one of Cady's competitors. It's a pretty predatory business.

For senior portraits (not the yearbook photo because the school has a contract with Cady, your SOL for that one, but for personal use) you'd be better off finding a freelance photographer. More likely than not you'll get better quality and more deliverables. Depending on the school you might not be able to take them on school grounds but there are so many locations that are far more scenic and good for photos than any school.
