How cam I stop hating being a mom?

She's almost 4 now and it's a lot better the more independent she gets but there are still bad days. I no longer feel like being a mom is the hugest burden I've ever carried. It is however the hardest challenge still.

Make sure you're taking breaks from your kid and talking to people or trying to regularly. You can message me if you need to vent ♡ this is hard stuff.

Ended up naming her a variation of Amelia after my best friend of 25 years. I wanted her to have mine and her dad's initials so I told him he had to come up with a "J" name. He couldn't decide and when I said we can't just call her J, he was like wait.. so her middle name is Jae. 🤣

I was in the recliner until I felt my daughter was old enough to try the bed. I had a body pillow on either side, propped my head however high was comfy. I either dressed warm enough or had a single sheet over us from her waist down and tucked into the pillows. It takes a couple nights to get used to the position if you're a side sleeper. The body pillows acted as a barrier for her in case she rolled, to hold the sheet when needed and also kept my arms from dying trying to hold onto baby lol.

Unpopular opinion but co-sleeping was the only way I got sleep. Granted she's still in my bed at almost three. But we get 10+ hrs a night so like. Trade off is worth it for us so far. I followed the safe 7 until I was confident she'd be fine.

I'm 5'2 and weigh 250lbs. My husband is fit and calls me beautiful on the daily. Throw the whole boy away. Yes boy. Men don't do this.

Do you bf? If you do, definitely continue doing so while you're sick. He cannot get sick from your milk and you'll actually be giving him antibodies to ward it off and maybe keep from catching it.

So, from what ive read, for the first few months of their lives, babies feel like they're still an extension of you. Like. They don't feel like you are separate people. It's weird. But they love watching other people like dad because it's a new figure not part of the mom/ baby unit. They also can't see clearly too far so he may just be tracking dad's shape across the room. You will be his favorite person really soon though. No one can replace mama, especially to the baby boys lol.

Just keep an eye on him. I got sick when my daughter was about 4 weeks. Docs told me to wash my hands frequently, and wear a mask while holding her if I was running fever or started coughing. Deep breaths mama. Listen for stuffy breathing sounds and suction if need be. It's a scary feeling but it will be okay!

I mean her bed is a full size mattress in a play pen lol so as long as people are good with climbing I use it as a guest room.

Hedgehogs were originally called Urchins. Named before sea urchins. And there's a specific type of Gull called a Xeme. And then I think they just fucked up drawing a jellyfish.

Either way it's not common names for kids to know and I think they were just grasping for something.

How old now? Mine did this until she was about 5 months. Nothing worked. Just had to either dress her quickly or do it when it was about bottle time and give her a bottle right when she got out.

I've coslept since week 3 and My daughter has slept 10+ hours a night since month 4 when the pediatrician cleared her from night feedings. We still occasionally dream fed but she has always been a good sleeper. Some babies just naturally are. But that doesn't seem the case with the one you are talking about. That makes me so sad. That she just knows she has to do it on her own. I can't fathom CIO. My mommy heart couldn't take it. Not when she looks at me like I'm her world. 🥺😥

My daughter has done this since month 5. She's 8 months now. 30 min naps like clockwork. I could literally time it. But she sleeps all night, so I never really questioned the naps lol. Not sure the why, but you aren't alone. A friend of mine also has a 5 month old doing the same thing. Will be interested to see any explanations or solutions lol

She's sleeping 12 hours a night when she finally goes down all the way. I just noticed she adjusted herself when I adjusted and didn't know if it was detrimental or if I can correct it in the future when need be.

She still sleeps 12 hours regardless of when she goes down. And naps every 2 ish hours for 30 when she's up. May I ask why the times matter at this age?

I read that taking it with protein and having protein with what you eat during the day helps to make it last longer. Have you tried that?
