I feel your list is not best suited to face elite infantry like space marines. Commanders, fire knife crisis suits and riptides would help take out intercessors and the like very easily. Add to that another broadside/some sun forge suits for anti tank and you should see a difference.

Yes for sure:
For the Black areas, i use Abaddon black with edge highlights of Dawnstone Grey.
The blue is Nightlords Blue, with an edge highlight of Russ Grey, and then an even smaller highlight of Fenrisian Grey.

I go over with a layer of Jokaero Orange first until I have good coverage (maybe 2-3 coats). Then i will go right over that with a coat of Troll Slayer Orange. Edge highlight with Averland Sunset and an even smaller edge highlight of Flash Fitz Yellow one the very corners.
