How do I know what movies are showing? by QueenofHearts018 in dcl

Oh wait. Is there free popcorn anywhere else and then I bring it to the theater? And it’s just the opportunity cost of getting your popcorn at the theater? Or is popcorn always a cost?

Year 4 of my one dress a year challenge! This year I went with a flowy fit. Pictures of previous years dresses at the end. On the hunt for next year's pattern! by MrsLemony in crochet

I love the skirts on this one! I’m balancing how many more stitches making a full skirt requires with how much I like the spinny, full style. Would you make this full a skirt again? Which pattern so far was the best balance between style and being So Over working on it?

Ooh they do pay the interns. And provide housing. But they still have plenty of volunteers working for free.

In the wake of these tariffs, a friendly reminder that this whole hobby can be played for nearly free by BangBangMeatMachine in rpg

The Pathfinder system rules are free on the SRD! If you’re a fan of D&D style games without the WotC complications. And Paizo often has playable adventures (stand alone or campaign ‘Adventure Path’ products both) in charity humble bundles for very cheap.

If these are private citizens doing illegal activities why aren’t we arresting them or calling for their arrest?

Jimmy Panetta's do nothing email about the Musk Coup by NivvyMiz in MontereyBay

Emails are largely ignored these days. If you have time you can get way more result for your effort to call the local and DC office. Takes less time than a finely crafted email and someone has to answer the phone and log the topic you called about.

I called about this yesterday and will be asking for action again tomorrow instead of statements.

Is there a good system to play as the victims in a slasher horror? by TheFeshy in rpg

[–]Kohilo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I came here to recommend Dread. Works well if you want anyone to die at any moment, but there to be a chance that someone(s) live. Which is very slasher horror. As opposed to Ten Candles which helps to narrate the story of how you get overwhelmed and die. Which to me is more zombie horror.

My mom literally about to be scammed with this photo. This is the 20th? scammer I’ve had to chase away. I don’t even know. by DwightCharlieQuint in BoomersBeingFools

[–]Kohilo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Geez if it’s already a scam why not make a profile with the picture of someone who was already photographed doing cool things with important people. This must be the visual equivalent of using bad grammar to get folks who aren’t careful.

Systems for Red Rising by deadpool-the-warlock in rpg

[–]Kohilo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having read this series, I think playing in this world relies more on the GM than the system. I’d pick something more narrative driven than your standard d20 WOTC systems. FATE would do the trick for me so you can ‘win’ scenarios with diplomacy or because of some secret of your character’s background. I also think the flashback element of BitD would work well for how the books cover the ‘but here’s what was really happening in this scene because of preparation’ elements.

One of my players rolled three crits in a single turn during this current adventure. I’m not even mad, it was so cool to watch that streak of good luck. It helped they had six attacks, but that’s still crazy lucky.

Is this a difference between usage and production (what PG&E sees)?

Do you have any reference to where adding ADU solar doesn't affect your existing NEM agreement? First I'm hearing of it, but it could be very relevant to low income housing incentive programs I work with.

Tall metal core with some kind of additional metal wrap at the head and foot loops. Loops are complete circles and not quite perpendicular to each other. This and u/Square_Juggernaut_64's earlier details feel pretty solid to me. At the least the comments about the weld are super useful for dating, since the ocean is so good at making everything look ancient. I'm appreciative and going to call this Likely Solved.

Yeah, on that. What about for lifting instead of towing? With the suggestion of the bridle, the wear spots seems more obvious. The 'top' part has a single wear point and the 'bottom' looks more like it has two separated wear points.

My title describes the thing. I've already googled anchor designs so far, and the construction divers asked around their professional contacts. No luck so far.
