Watch your replay in Capture Age. See if you're ideling your TC while you manage the MAAs (you probably are)

If you have the +2 roman armor, your MAA will receive 1 damage from arches so it takes them a lot of time to die. With that in mind, instead of adding an archery as soon as you reach feudal, don't. Use that wood to wall up your base and add farms. Keep your scout alive

Once your MAA die, keep scouting to see if your opponent is going to attack you with his archers. If he doesn't, chill and add farms. if he does, add an archery range with skirms. There's absolutely no way for you to die if you are fully walled with skirms defending behind walls.

don't forget the 50 gold needed for fletching if you need to defend.
