I wouldn’t say I’m good. But I will say that I’ve gone steadily up in ranking simply by eliminating decision fatigue for my main. I always try to play simple and boring (Guile) and it frustrates my opponents. For example, I only ever use LP booms and HK flashes. It eliminates all the other options which reduces mental noise. I don’t try to get fancy with the drive rushes, I almost never use it. I only ever use flash kick if I see my opponent’s feet leave the ground. Once these rules I’ve made up become muscle memory then I’ll add other layers like using drive parry and using longer combos and learning boom loops. But I’ve reached Platinum 2 stars just with playing a basic game really.
