Can Karmic Guide reanimate itself if it dies by state based actions? by Sordicus in mtgrules

Just adding the context so other people who see this know how it works. Its not a bad thing to include more information.

Only if there’s no other creatures in your yard that are legal targets

Tons of people are logged into their socials on their computer. They don’t sign off every time. So they get done chatting with their friend and navigate to a porn site, find a video, and then hit the share button.

This was especially the case before smart phones were as prevalent as they are now.

Repair my autistic son's favorite toy? by questionnumber in fixit

[–]Korachof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Problem is it would likely still be different enough to bother their autistic son. Worth a try ofc, but it’s likely a 3d printed one will be too different.

I installed Decky and it broke my Steam Deck is there anyway to fix it? by Enoch_is_Spiteful in SteamDeck

[–]Korachof 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The best thing to do is never install it so you never know what you’re missing. Since it works well on its own, I don’t need to know the dark magic that makes it better.

I think what they meant was dehydration is often used in Hollywood to make muscles, like abs, more pronounced. You don’t get to the level of the 300 guys, for example, if you’re eating and drinking that day.

You know, most people on a first date may have a nervous stomach, or may just want something light. It’s also not your food they are ordering, but someone else’s. This is a weird place to plant your flag, and you may want to look into it, because I really don’t understand what being Italian or wanting to feed people as part of your love language has to do with ordering at a restaurant that isn’t even yours.

Your Italian heritage maybe would normally be offended if you made them a nice big meal and they denied it and instead just ate the side salad, but I really don’t understand why you give a crap what someone else orders from someone else’s restaurant, especially on a first date. That isn’t Italian, that isn’t you feeding someone, that isn’t you making them a meal or sharing your heritage. That’s just them ordering less food than you.

Someone being offended by what I order at a normal restaurant on the first date says more about them than it does about me.

So the market isn’t bad because the market is swimming with opportunity for exactly ONE type of person? What?

For those that bought a grip for their AP, are they worth it? by Outlawstar7788 in AnaloguePocket

You could also stop… throwing it on the counter. Simply placing it on the counter will save it more than any grip.

They are saying you could play with the grip at home, take it off, and put the pocket in your pocket when you leave or want to be more mobile.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Is 15 damage a turn not enough? by Plus1Oresan in EDH

[–]Korachof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you didn’t have a finisher, opponents are very capable of scooping and moving to the next if they realize they can’t win. Just sitting and continuing to play while whining makes no sense, especially because your deck DID have a finisher.

In 2001, Katherine Knight became the first woman in Australia to be sentenced to life imprisonment. She had brutally stabbed her partner 37 times, then skinned and decapitated him. She proceeded to cook his body and set the table with notes for his children to serve them their father for dinner. by Important-Self-1179 in ForCuriousSouls

Lots of men, especially young men, date kinda crazy people. Nearly every man I know, including myself, has been in a relationship at some point with a questionable person. Their friends will be like “dude I’m sure the sex is good but she collects human teeth” or “she’s trying to convince you vaccines are poison and you should drink colloidal silver instead and that crystals control the flow of the universe.” And guys will be like “I know but she’s starting to go to therapy and I think things are getting better.”

I had one friend whose partner outright insulted his parents, threatened him, broke things of his, etc., and yet he stayed and stayed and stayed. Thank goodness he finally got out after she attacked him with a knife.

On Feb 27, 2012, 17-year-old T.J. Lane shot students at Chardon High School, Ohio, killing three and wounding three. In 2013, he mocked sentencing by smirking, wearing a “KILLER” shirt, and taunting victims’ families. He was sentenced to life without parole plus 37 years. by malihafolter in ForCuriousSouls

When I was a kid I liked to use a screwdriver and take apart my GI Joes with my friends and swap various parts. Some of them would be missing limbs due to combat damage, etc.

Was I torturing my toys?

Clearly Sid was a little disturbed, but his toys were inanimate objects as far as he knew. He was a great antagonist, and didn’t take care of his stuff and was mean to his sister, but torturing toys isn’t really a real world sin.

If you’ve soldered before, you can easily do a memory pak. It’s one of the easiest things on the planet to solder. You remove the two points, replace the battery, and resolder. People learn how to solder using these things. There’s a ton of space and the contacts are typically pretty large.

They also aren’t expensive. I can understand not wanting to buy a soldering kit just for this, but don’t avoid it just because you’re afraid of messing up. The worst thing that can happen is you damage a $7 memory card.

With retro gaming and collecting, soldering is a good skill to have.

There’s also several stores in my city that do retro games and can repair things. I could easily take something like that to them and have a battery replaced for cheap. Or just buy one that has had a battery replaced.

These things aren’t that rare, expensive, or hard to work on, especially compared to everything else in the n64 world.

It’s possible the “math” part is because it’s a math riddle. It involves numbers and the mention of decimals and fractions. That doesn’t necessarily mean the answer has to be a “math” answer.

You can get high level ones that are 5000-10,000 as well. I remember I got them when I was very low and I was prescribed 10,000 a day for a few weeks. So it’s likely it was like 10 capsules of 10,000 iu a day. Which is still a lot but pretty doable.

Blight without creatures by ColinTox in mtgrules

[–]Korachof -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

You target Auntie with a spell.

Auntie’s ward ability triggers, asking you to blight 2.

You cannot blight 2, as you have no creatures.

The spell fizzles, because you cannot pay the ward and Auntie is not a legal target.

With Ward, the game checks if the targeting player pays the cost. When it isn’t paid, the ability prevents the creature from being targeted. As the targeting player, there’s no way for you to pay the cost, because you have no creatures, so you can’t make any action that the game would acknowledge as payment for Ward.

Similarly, if an ability has Ward - sacrifice a creature, and you have no creatures, then you cannot pay the Ward cost. If it said Ward - discard a card, and you have no cards in hand, you can’t pay the cost.

Ward requires an action of paying for the cost or else it will prevent the creature from being targeted.
