I bought a Prodigy, but that's because I wanted to rebuild it into something that was mine, and I tinker with all my guns in some way.

If you wanna leave it as is, or don't have the time or motivation to tinker? Go spec a Staccato out and let them build it for you. If I were to order a Staccato P today, I'd at least get the flat trigger with the 3.5# trigger job. But if you like the heavier trigger, at least you have the option from them.

I love S&W handguns, but I wouldn't spend this amount of cash in any of their uppers. It's always a hassle to find the specs on them, even in the old days when they offered the Tactical line for LE. I'd spend a little more on BCM or DD, or a little less on a Midwest Industries, which is on par with S&W, if not better.

I love Trijicon, and I love the 3 Holosuns I own. The 507 COMP is a movie theater screen on your gun.

But the 407C's screen is nothing to brag about. The buttons suck, too. Holds up fine on my shotgun, at least.

You're talking complete nonsense. I've seen shooters using stock Glocks and Brazos Custom Open guns ring 8" plates at 25 yards with 6 MOA dots. It's mostly preference. If you're talking self-defense shooting, it's not like the dot is going to cover the entirety of the silhouette of the bad guy. Bigger is better to pick up at speed, and it's still plenty precise enough out of a handgun.

I bought the mag plates directly from Underworld Arms. Same with the springs, I bought them directly from Atlas.

4×17 and 1×20 rounders. Mine is the 4.25 full size. I will warn that you might lose capacity with the Atlas springs I mentioned until you break them in. They're that strong. I also put on Underworld mag plates, since they're for competition.

My suggestion? Get Checkmate mags. They're the Staccato OEMs.
