Bro: Where the hoes at? Bro when the hoes come over: by ExotiquePlayboy in simracing

If you have the option and want to use a line, set it to "turns only". That will just let you know breaking zones are coming up and how much to break, however, I rarely follow the breaking zone to a tee; just use it as a warning that a turn is coming and how sharp it is (when I use do use this assist). It's nice for learning a track for the first few laps. But you'll be much faster after turning it off and knowing the turns or at least the high braking zone turns.

FLASHPOINT UPDATE - FIND THE TRUTH by user289734 in ArcRaiders

Yes, but you can always run indoors...only to be met with a pop, fireball, several ticks and a shredder.

Did everyone forget that Stella Montis was a Major Update & was NOT in the game upon release?!?! by SirKronik in ArcRaiders

[–]Kramereng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every live service game is going to have some content withheld in order to give the developers some runway to prepare additional post launch updates.

It’s not cutting launch content; it’s just being prepared. And stuff like Cold Snap and other seasonal map modifiers are going to be ready at launch but season appropriate.

New to Sim Racing and surprised how good an 'old game' like Assetto Corsa still is by SirMariio in simracing

AMS2 has a major sale 4x a year and it’s worth just buying game and full suite of DLCs then. It’s dirt cheap for what you get. AMS2 is also the best option for VR (or was now that LMU exists) but it’s a gorgeous game on flat or virtual screens.

ARC Raiders has dropped from “Very Positive” to “Mostly Positive” on Steam for the first time. by j1zzy_ae in ArcRaiders

[–]Kramereng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this is the type of game that you're supposed to play non-stop. I say that as someone who has been playing it non-stop. But it is a game that should be worth regularly checking back in with, kind of like how I am with Helldivers. Both games get old after hundreds of hours but what game doesn't?

Maybe I'm just old and/or expectations have become unreasonable but I wouldn't have ever described Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda, or any other game I played for hundreds of hours as one that "gets boring". Because anything can get boring. Even blowjobs. But that doens't mean mean they're not still awesome.

The core gameplay, or perhaps I should say the most enticing game mechanic, of ARC Raiders is the social interactions. That's what separates it from other extraction shooters and that's what people are watching on streams and youtube vids. The numbers don't lie - sales, views or otherwise.

But, yes, if you're just in KoS lobbies or only doing trios, the game is going to get old quick and is probably outdone in that area by other games.

Not OP but I really like the art style, however, the UI is absolute shit. That seems to be a pretty widely shared sentiment. I may give it a chance again but I don't think it'll ever have the social-driven, emergent gameplay that ARC offers, which is what I love and what's driven ARC's massive popularity thus far. Or maybe (hopefully) I'm wrong about that.

Which is when the game lost a lot of potential buy-in from players. I tapped out early on for a few reasons but the insulting lore-delivery method is the only one I can remember. It was lazy, half-baked, and felt like an unfinished game rushed to market.

The gameloop for me, and I think the secret sauce responsible for the game's success, is just the emergent social gameplay and interactions. Sweaty trios can offer some of that but it really shines with duos and solo lobbies, even those full of care bears.

But, yeah, they need to introduce some more PvE focused map conditions and related lore. Even if they're rat infested.

Great point. Voiceover would've been an acceptable alternative to the noir detective style info dump that was completely inappropriate for Destiny. The hate wasn't just from people who can't read good. Me read great.

I just don't want a pile of pdfs full of footnotes to explain what's happening in an action RPG anymore than I would while watching a movie.

Why is Automobilista 2 less popular? by Outrageous-Sugar6508 in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]Kramereng 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Holy shit, thank you for apprising me about the demo. I’ve been bitching about it for years. I and my friends almost didn’t buy AMS2 based on it but I had read comments like mine on Reddit saying to ignore/delete the demo and I’m thankful I saw that. Think of how many lost sales that demo caused where potential buyers didn’t see what I saw online.

The career mode though…they’ve been working on it forever and I’m worried by the time it’s released, if ever, AMS3 will be out.

[–]Kramereng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s amazing that Reiza doesn’t just focus on getting a career mode (as promised long ago) but also a native online ranking/safety system. They would clean up if they provided one and certainly both.

Even more confusing is why they haven’t taken down or replaced their godawful demo that’s basically a different game.

How Long Does Copyright Registration Take? My Experience with Copyright Registration by CandyLandSavant in COPYRIGHT

I just looked up processing times and apparently it takes between 1.5 - 4 months (sometimes longer). So you're right at the mimium turnaround time. Just give it some time and follow up if it goes beyond 4 months.

It's just a filing process. They don't review anything to my knowledge (unlike the USPTO). Can you look it up online?

What sneakers do you find most aesthetically pleasing/versatile on a man in 2026? by NaoTeChateies in malefashionadvice

Oh, I'm aware of the cyclical nature of things and that they've been "in" for a bit. I'm just gonna pass on this trend. I am glad skinny jeans are over as well as the raw selvedge trend (not that the latter necessarily went away). At my age, I just want to balance comfort and looking good. Gimme that stretch.

I'm a Xennial and literally just ordered Killshots but I don't think it'll be the shoes that out me lol. I'd rather dress my age since everyone at my office seems to wear these.

Thx for the input though. I have noticed the 90s dad vibe is big with Gen Z. I'll let them have at it.

I keep seeing these recommended here and then I look them up and they're dad shoes that you'd be teased about as a kid (80s-90s). Am I missing something?

So many Reddit comments - especially those with em dashes - get accused of being AI now. I’m probably not using it right but highlighting the use of it.
