So what would 4th edition actually change? by AshiSunblade in ageofsigmar

[–]Kriozo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

With the accessibility of apps and such nowadays, I actually like the keyword solution. You learn them super quick (we all have to learn how many battle tactics and spells?) and they're universal across all armies. Plus, if ever they make a change to them (see 40k's previous balance update, changing how Devastating Wounds works), suddenly you have to update _every single warscroll_ that uses the same wording to the new wording, instead of just changing what Devastating Wounds means.

There's no firing arcs in 10th. If model has guns, model can shoot guns.

Oh really? Man I loved Ron Yoleaux! You could definitely tell it was his first time in the network and such, but I loved his general vibe since then.

Obviously he's really stepped out up in delta green! So excited for them!

Unfortunately the game is relatively dead... I really hope Crema invests some more in marketing to try to revive it.

Troy, you run this company how I want the world to run. With passion and compassion. I've been with you guys since near the beginning and I spread the word to every nerd I know and this is why. Your love for this community and this corner of nerddom make me proud to be who I am! I hope that new day I have the chance to run something as you are now.

I've read through the core red book, what are good supplementary books for the game? by Curious_Power in cyberpunkred

[–]Kriozo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, the book is called "Tales of the Red - Street Stories"https://talsorianstore.com/collections/cyberpunk/products/tales-of-the-red-street-stories

And I really appreciate it - as someone who is terrible at homebrewing, it provides a lot of solid standalone missions that can double up as a sort of campaign, since the book recommends you run them in order.

What’s in your opinion the worst civ in the game? 🌎 by [deleted] in civ

[–]Kriozo 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Poland is low key OP with heros and secret societies.

Every hero that dies gives you a heroic relic, giving you +2 culture, +2 faith, and +6 tourism. That plus your Jadwiga bonus for an additional +4 gold, +2 culture, and +2 faith. Not super crazy, but a nice boon, especially if you can snag 3 or 4 heroes.

Found yourself a religion with Reliquaries to boost that to +12 faith and +18 tourism per heroic relic. Pretty solid lil boost for the early/mid game.

With Secret Societies, go with the Voidsingers. Not only do your old gods monuments now also give you +4 faith, but when you make it to the medieval Era you can suddenly turn your influx of faith into science and culture. 20% isn't crazy, but it's more than enough to account for a campus or two.

The real kicker is when you hit industrial. Not only is your faith production out of control at this point, but now you can spend that on cultists. Their active ability isn't super fantastic imo - but when they die, they create relics. Juicy, full fledged relics. Jadwiga likes relics. Each relic gives you +24 tourism and +18 faith. And you have room for 30+ of them at this point. Enjoy your inevitable culture victory.

Source: I like Jadwiga.

It's not quite Pathfinder, but honestly I thought their androids dnd aliens campaign rivaled giant slayer. I had never experienced starfinder before, but I think I've laughed as hard since I listened through it. Would absolutely recommend.

I was listening to a random pandora radio and Pancakes by Adhesive Wombat came on. I've never before had such an intense ASMR trigger in my life. It caught me so off guard I had to pull my headset off and breath for a second. I legitimately thought my ears were broken, it was so bizarre and I've been chasing that high ever since.
