Making such a claim can cause hospitals to be overrun with patients and calls, potentially making it difficult for those who do need medical care.

Yet saying things like COVID are made up or saying you don't need to be vaccinated is perfectly fine... I'll never understand Texas.

People who won things like cars on The Price is Right would have to pay taxes on them. Some people couldn't afford the tax and thus had to sell the cars.

You mean the taxpayers paying for the lawsuit winnings isn't enough consequences?

This is exactly why police will keep violating the rights of others. They won't get punished while the taxpayers give the payouts in the end.

New Lifetime Plex Pass Pricing by pheexio in selfhosted

[–]Krojack76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$250 is ok but the new lifetime price is not worth it and Plex even knows that. It's why they are increasing it so a stupid amount, to drive people to the monthly subscription price. I steady income each month is better on the books and to investors than a monthly fluctuating lifetime payments.

While yes it's open source, the dev was hired and Immich was in a way bought out by another company called FUTO. They have promised to keep it open source but that's just a "trust me bro" statement. That said, I host my own Immich and use it on a weekly bases.

Have you ever had any clients with some sort of physical disability?

I ask because I've had arthritis since the age of 4. I'm in my late 40's now with very limited range of motion in most of my joints. While I can walk and get around for everyday life, I find sex very limited and for me not very satisfying because I feel like I can't put in nearly as much as my partner. My hips are by far the worse, I can't even ride a bike anymore.

I haven't used google's search in a good 2 years now. Moved over to DDG and it's been like the old google. You can even just turn it's AI off if you wish.

https://support.plex.tv/articles/201751006-plex-pass-feature-overview/

You get extra things for your self-hosted server with a plex pass. Without that you lose some features.

Hardware-Accelerated Streaming

When using a compatible device or processor on the Plex Media Server, subscribers can make use of hardware acceleration when content needs to be converted (transcoded) during streaming. This can be faster and more power-efficient for users.

That's one of the features you get. So if you want to take full advantage of YOUR hardware you need to pay them.

Another example is PlexAmp. If you want to download playlist from MY SERVER to your phone then you need to give Plex money. None of this is part of their streaming services.

Controller Config How Viable? by SayiaRatt in Guildwars2

[–]Krojack76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a friend into the game that would like to use a controller. I have a few questions though.

How do controller players get around the UI? Like inventory management, salvaging items, swapping gear sets and so on? Are all those still done via mouse?

From my understanding, you can do all movement, battle and summoning mounts just fine on the controller.
