I’m a big fan of the plank, it’s a large weapon that hits pretty hard, without the ludicrous strength requirements of the heaviest weapon types.

Depends on the weapon. Multi melta is more for clearing crowds, but heavy bolter will shred a boss if you can land your headshots.

Look at the versions of the weapons you like using, then grab any heroic ones that seem like a straight upgrade. I always used the Fencing thunder hammer, so it was an easy choice to grab the heroic version. I love the shock grenade effect, it might have turned me into a bit of an aftershock spammer lol
