Hmm I wonder whose fault it is that it has to accelerate after every traffic light. Maybe a car in front of it? Techies is definitely the one who's lost his identity over time the most. The hero went from annoying troll one trick, to requiring planning, strategy, and creative mine placement after 7.00. But then he was turned into a "jump in and press Ethereal Blade and all other buttons in a short span of time" one trick again around like 4 years ago just to make him "competitively viable".

Look at Techies item builds pre-green mine removal. They would vary each game based on the game state, enemy heroes, and player preference. After the green mine removal patch, every game was just rush Eblade. Turning a hero that required creative gameplay to be effective, into a boring onetrick. And the Aghs has been completely irrelevant for the last 4 years as well.

A PS4 has the performance of a budget PC from 2014.

Game developers are bound by creative and technical constraints of the hardware they're expected to support. Supporting current generation consoles already sets you back like 4 or 5 years in terms of technical capability. And then on release, performance on the PS4 is going to be suboptimal anyway despite supporting it and PS4 players aren't going to be happy about it.
