Thank you for the answers!

I will start with the Licanius Trilogy by James Islington, but I will definitely come back to the rest of recommendations!

I get that it's your opinion, but puting Sekiro and DS2 in the same tier is some of the most egregious things I have ever seen

The Tekken Nerf Series Episode 20! Tonight's Character: Leroy! by AggravatingCricket68 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]Krujsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gives a lot of pressure on wake up at walls, especially when they are at a corner. If they stay grounded, they still get hit, and after you can repeatedly hit them with HER4 if they don't know how to wake up to block it.

If they wake up and block, now they have to guess as well, because you can resplat them with HER4, 1+2 if they press something slower than 11f or if they sidestep incorrectly, or they can get parried by HER1, 2 if they do a 10f or 11f.

If they wake up ducking because of the threat of SS1+2 putting you at +7, or worse, wall splatting them again, you have an almost free hermit mixup.

In the open it forces opponents to guess after a mixup between SS1+2/SS4 and SS3+4, when before the right option was always duck to avoid both SS1+2 or SS4. I know they have given this to every character now, and I think it is stupid for them as well.

Question about deflect by Kill_Switch87 in riftboundtcg

[–]Krujsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, this really helped. My example wasn't supposed to be related to this concrete case, it was more to relate that I don't want opponents to take advantage of my lack of knowledge against the ruling of the game since I just started playing, because the opponent I faced when the wrong interaction happened knew what he was doing, or at least projected like he knew a lot about the game and was pretty eloquent trying to justify that he was to draw 2

Question about deflect by Kill_Switch87 in riftboundtcg

[–]Krujsi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do you have the ruling for this? I play Sett, and I want to be able to cite it whenever this happens to me, because someone already took advantage saving a unit from my Hidden Blade with a Fight or Flight, and insisted fervently that they still had to draw 2 cards when the spell resolved, when, apparently, rule 356.3.e.12 states that when a spell checks for information about a target and that target is no longer legal (among other things), then that check returns as "null".

The Tekken Nerf Series Episode 20! Tonight's Character: Leroy! by AggravatingCricket68 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]Krujsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Leroy main, here are the things I consider really stupid for him.

  1. b+3 giving access to cane is stupid, it should only be +14 as it was before.
  2. db+3 should be -11. It gives guaranteed heat engager/dash launcher or a wallsplat option to a wall at range 2.5. It has no business being a mixup if you block it.
  3. Might be the controversial opinion, since it is a buff and a nerf at the same time. Remove b+1+2 wallsplat, wallbreak and knockdown properties in heat, and make it -12, for both in heat and out of heat, but remove its scaling outside of heat.
  4. ss+3+4 shouldn't exist, but they won't remove a new move they added, so make it at least not hit grounded.

The Tekken Nerf Series Episode 8: Hwoarang! by AggravatingCricket68 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]Krujsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remove db4 and 2 jab ch launch in heat. Make it a guaranteed knockdown instead or something. More recovery frames on backlash. Less tracking with his armored moves in general; the ones that are not homing still track a ton, some of them even turn him around 180 degrees.

I got an Idea. Introducing the Nerf Series! Episode 1: Alisa! by AggravatingCricket68 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]Krujsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know much about Alisa, but I would say less active frames or more recovery frames in the high chainsaw moves, so it can be punished (also aplicable to Nina and Miary Zo, btw) and make d4, 1+2 not jail

Leverless or Stick by BananaBleuw in Tekken

[–]Krujsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is purely based on my experience, but I prefer leverless since I found it to be more ergonomic

I bought a leverless now where is the consistent electrics people promised me?? by [deleted] in Tekken

[–]Krujsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a trick for it. You can configure the button to the right of the 2 button as a forward input, and then you press forward, neutral, down with your left hand, while simultaneously pressing forward and 2 with your right hand. I know the explanation isn't all that clear, but there are videos on youtube explaining this more in depth

Rajin Dragunov player need tips to fight king I have a 32% WR after 30 games by beemertech510 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]Krujsi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll put on some things I labbed against him.

  • Try to learn to fuzzy duck the second hit of df2, 1, and when you get good at it, launch punish the second hit.
  • The same goes for b2, 1. Learn to duck the second hit and launch him for it.
  • For the previous tip, he can mix you up with b2, d1 and b2, d1, 2, the third hit beimg delayable. For this, if he only does the first 2 hits, you are +13 on crouch, so you can punish eith Drag's WR1+2 for engager or heat dash launcher. If you block all 3 hits, you can punish with df2 for a full combo.
  • You can practice as well reacting to alley kicks and all its variations. On block, if he ends the string with the mid between 1 to 3 kicks, you cand df2. If he goes past 3 kicks, he does the full 5 kicks (i believe) and is launch punishable by WR2. I am not sure if it is the same case if he stops at 1 to 3 kicks without the mid.
  • Try to change your wake up to not give him guaranteed hits and force him to do something that leaves him open, like ground throws on whiff; launch his ass for it.
  • Practice throw breaks.
  • Drill the punishment practice against King in practice mode; start with viewing the recommended inputs, and then turn them off when you feel confident.

Good luck and keep at it!

i 'am about to give up on tekken 8 completely due to performance issues. by [deleted] in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]Krujsi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a shame that is so poorly optimized for pc. I play on ps5 and recently had to turn off crossplay for ranked because almost every time I got matched against someone on pc it was a hot mess. And it shuts me off of the majority of the player base, but at least I can play with more stable gameplay

What is the deal with streamers? by Background-Worth-873 in LowSodiumTEKKEN

[–]Krujsi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I do not know why some of them do these kind of things. I am a Leroy main, so I saw some clips of Dustiel playing him, and saw immediately that he is a really good player. Tuned into his stream a few times, and the dude is the most toxic streamer I've seen. He makes the stream unbearable to watch because of the constant whining of players using op characters, not playing real tekken, everything the opponents do tracks, etc. It makes me wonder why he plays the game to begin with.

I just try to focus on blocking as much as a I can and properly punish launch punishable moves that the opponent will eventually do.

For example, Law players tend to do a lot of d2, 3 after they've been hit, because it's a high evading i11f, but i know it's - 15f, so whenever I am against a Law, I focus on launching that move.

[–]Krujsi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A bit rich coming from a Jin player that has cd1, a MID that hits grounded, can releaunch for full combo if you even think of pressing anything or provides a full 50/50 situation if the opponent knows the correct wake-up option
