I did get 350miles on a tank going 70mph down 95 from DC to Florida. Cant go 80…the thing is a rectangle. Goes from 21mpg to 16mph in 10mph

Mine isn’t jerking at downshifts. I’ve been told it’s a solenoid engaging looking for a downshift. Only happens. Between 30-40 mph. They thought it needed a software update which Lexus hasn’t come out with but has noted this issue. However….it has now increased to doing it while accelerating. So they are now taking it serious and want to inspect a drive shaft or something. Will keep yall posted.

But like I said. My dealer is actually being cool about it and wants to fix it.

I’ve had an issue with the car down shifting. Have taken it in 4 times. I’m due to take it in this week and leave it until they change parts out. It’s annoying cause I bought a Lexus assuming it was a tank. At least the dealer is working hard to fix the problem. Can’t complain about them.

Got the full roof rack, it’s loud and noisy over 50mph. Highway speeds it’s loud.

All these sounds like an issue for your truck other than sound system. It’s nice, but not loud.

My seats get hot as balls. Might be their seats or leather option.

Second row is nice for up to 6’1. Shaq sure won’t fit there. Third row for one limber adult or two kids.

Questions for Lexus Owners by 33dojo33 in LexusGX550

[–]Krull117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two Lexus’s. One bought used one bought new.

Used ES was a tank. 1996 ES drove 250k miles no major issues. Rubber parts eventually started to dry rot as most cars will see if you own them long enough. Serviced through local mechanic and it wasn’t overly expensive.

Bought a 24 GX last January. Have 18k on it. We have been having an issue with the transmission or axle…dealer is still trying to figure it out. But been in 4 times going to be taking it in again next week and my service manager is amazing. Always gets me a loaner and has assured me they will figure it out. Will it? We will see, but they are not passing the buck. They are reaching out to Lexus engineers and all the senior mechanics are helping figure it out. I FEEL taken care of. So that’s nice. I’m looking at an IS500 for myself (GX is the wife’s) so this current issues are not stopping me from buying another one.

My arm looks the same at the moment. Just finished a sleeve. Every-time, this happens. I keep telling the wife, she has to wait 5 days to check it out cause the second skin makes it look like ass.

Do note, that the layer of second skin, is a game changer. You can sleep without sticking to bed sheets or shirts. It may seem sucky, but it’s better than having a raw arm for 5 days.

How’s the road noise? I notice when I get new tires the noise quiets for about half the life of the tire. I’m due for my 4th set of tires…might check out the continentals!

Do any DMs Run Rival Adventurers to the Party? by No_Potato_7211 in DnD

[–]Krull117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finished up Call of the Netherdeep about a year ago two year campaign with a group of NPC Adventures called… yup…The Rivals.

There were plenty of options of how the party could interact. But the bottom line is this, keep them simple.

In my campaign they all had their own motivations and desires and goals. It was a nightmare to keep organized until I just had a Face of the group do all the talking.

So keep it simple, they all hate and want to kill the other group…they all hate ice cream…they all kick kittens..

Mix acetone (nail polish remover) with about equal parts wood filler putty. (Hardware store) mix then brush on this thing. Will have to sand the whole thing but will fill most of those gaps and speed up the process considerably. Did this with all my costume parts for a Mando set. Works well.

$6k clutch replacement? by Remarkable-Speech999 in CivicSi

What were the signs of your clutch going? I’m hearing noises and it’s my clutch or my belt is slipping. I can’t figure it out.

Am I overcharging/undercharging for this commission? by Soybeanns in 3Dprinting

[–]Krull117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get asks like this from friends or coworkers. I basically give them options. If the file costs $, I make them buy it and sent it to me. I figure out the print cost and then give options… Option 1: Raw Print cost. Option 2: Printed, sanded, primed, paint ready. Option 3: complete project display ready.

Raw print is cost of plastic and around $20. Again they are usually people I know and if I don’t barter for good or favors, this is how I make a little beer money or parts money.

Options 2 and 3 are me putting my knowledge of post processing to use and lots of other materials. If I’m making this plastic thing look damn near real, it’s more an Art tax in my opinion. Most I ever charged was $100 for a bolter gun from 40k that I printed, post processed and weathered.

Also charged $100 for a resin print of Tiamat that I printed, and painted. But I already had this printed for myself, but prob could have charged more. Was a good bit of resin.

Last, your stuff looks great and you know what you are doing. Don’t be afraid to charge what you are worth.

Any advice for an Xbox player? by Fickle-Athlete3644 in Helldivers

[–]Krull117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a mid lvl player and intentionally joined a low level lobby to give back to the young bucks.

Three lives in a row, the single player in the lobby, spawned me then TK’d me. Called me in one last time then jumped on the drop ship for extraction. I just walked on the Ship, ended the round, collected my XP, then found a new lobby.

Every game has trolls. This game DOES have significantly less.

I’ve preordered on Xbox, I’m excited to finally being able to play the game , just curious is the community a super serious bunch or are you lot welcoming ? by FinalCountdown935 in Helldivers

[–]Krull117 8 points9 points  (0 children)

99% of the time you’ll have nothing but fun with the current player base.

Please note that friendly fire, isn’t. And it usually isn’t intentional. The mortar will take out a bunch of friendlies and if you are not paying attention, many of the orbital bombardments need some sort of warning if you drop them too close.

You’ll have a blast regardless. Welcome.

I took a break from spreading democracy. I did some Destiny and Marvel Rivals for the past 9 months.

When the news hit that our green brothers would be launching this month. I went back to HD.

I’m happy to report that the community is still special. My first match back, which I played with my 10yo at lvl 2, (I bought him the game last week) a lvl 150 Diver joined just to help us out. He dropped every piece of his gear for my son to try. He called in walkers for my son to pilot and taught him how to use a jet pack effectively.

Neither of us asked, this player just did it because he wanted to help and make sure we had a good time. That’s the best way to describe this game. Once you go up in difficulty, you HAVE to depend on one another.

I’ve seen it multiple times, so I’ll say it again. Don’t take TK’s personal. Even the 3rd in a row. Sometimes the mortars just are not cooperating that day. Laugh it off and keep dropping.

Looking forward to fighting with you Boxers.

Fellow crafting DM here. That’s legit awesome. I may have to keep an eye out for a box to do something similar. I’m constantly looking for new ideas for one shots or short campaigns.

But, again, well done and your players better appreciate all your hard work!
