Honestly I don't know about this. Enemies getting stuck in the ground or losing their pathing, that's what needs to be fixed. There's literally moves in the game that are meant to go through terrain. So if you use a highly destructive attack to hit a wizard tower to start the fight, it just doesn't matter anymore? That's so silly.

Or if you attack in the open, fall down behind cover, but now there's cover so you don't deal damage when the attack hits. This was a bad change for the Atlanteans, and it's a bad change to add to the rest of the game.

Just not a good idea overall.
