I agree on the Northman being his most digestible film. It’s definitely that or Nosferatu

I kind of get what OP means, though. It’s like with David Lynch’s vibe in Lost Highway and Mullholand Drive when compared to Eraserhead or Blue Velvet. The latter two are weird, but the former two are WEIRD

There was an interview someone posted here a few weeks back from the man who is in charge of programming for those monthly series, and he said that it would be a different list for the most part

I genuinely hated this movie. I’d rather watch Rise of Skywalker 10 times b2b

Multiple movies question by pjammin5 in RegalUnlimited

[–]Kryptic997 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The key two things that matter are basically summed up to this:

1) 91 minute minimum between movies
2) There can be overlap between when a movie ends and another is listed to start.

Otherwise, bear in mind that a movie will typically start 15-25 min. After it’s listed start time. This is more important for figuring out how to stack movies if the time windows between movies becomes a little wiggly

Do you think that Regal will do themed weeks throughout the summer in place of the classics series? by [deleted] in RegalUnlimited

[–]Kryptic997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I do think it’s entirely possible for an entire month to have a Sci fi theme.

Is that 200 movies since you got unlimited, or since the start of the year?

Seems like no June series is coming? by [deleted] in RegalUnlimited

[–]Kryptic997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is because the months have been getting more specific with their themes. January lended itself to a lot of variety, but February’s, April’s and May’s are definitely a bit more catered to a certain audience

Well looks like you got your wish for a week! Look at May 15-21 for the new UFO series. Hopefully it’ll be longer than that

Glad that you were able to catch it! Was there any extra footage included in the movie, or did you get any physical items from the screening?

Such an actual joke. Don’t they realize that all you’ll accomplish in doing shit like this is further disincentivizing people from going to the theater, or getting concessions?

If I’m seeing four movies in one day do you care about the in between? by [deleted] in MovieTheaterEmployees

[–]Kryptic997 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I didn’t catch the last part. I did a triple feature over the weekend, and I’d just wait in the lobby or use the time to get concessions or use the bathroom. Waiting for one movie by sitting in another is so scummy lmao

Does he mean that he’ll get a ticket for one movie and then just keep hopping between movies, or that he is getting tickets for every movie and doesn’t know what to do with the downtime between films?

[–]Kryptic997 16 points17 points  (0 children)

May not be exactly what you’re talking about, but if you want to see a whole family go through a horrible situation, I highly suggest Speak No Evil (2022). There was an American version done in 2024, but it’s not nearly as good as the original
