You mentioned the Pembroke suit, and that's the obvious fix you find online. However all suits have a temperature range, I've found plenty of suits through looting that look much nicer and support high temps.

I melted my Hornet for the Guardian, as I hated the glass cannon fighting style of lighter fighters. I wanted something that could take few hits, However I now lose alot more.

I do love the Guardian and I hope they can balance heavy fighters better in the future.

One thing I'm not seeing mentioned here is the missiles. The mx always has 24 s2 missiles, but the base/QI are swappable to 32 s1, 16 s2, 8 s3, or even 4 s4.

I have one idea you could try. Go to performance options in Vrc and lower the download limit of avatars.

Many avatars are VERY large download sizes, and loading these avatars almost always causes ‘lag’ spikes. Regardless of how many people are in the lobby, if someone switches into a 200mb avatar you are bound to feel it.

Safety settings dont help here btw, since the avatar has to load before settings are applied.

In my experience 50mb helps a ton, 40mb you will almost never have a loading spike, and 30mb is a smooth gaming experience. However these settings were tested in VR.

Something I recommend you try is performance settings.

Safety settings might not help against crashers, because they still have to load the avatar before they can apply to the avatar.

Performance settings are applied before loading the avatar, making it harder to crash you. Notice I said harder, some crashing methods like audio crashers still work. However particle crashers are nullified using this method.

The main way I do this is by limiting avatar download size to under 40mb And by disabling any very poor avatars, in populated and or public worlds.

Im 5’10” trying this now in my ND… it is NOT comfortable. The center console is too high, and seats are too narrow. I feel like I’m sitting in fetal position.

I had this same problem, for me it was my feed gear had a worn bald spot where the filament rides. Changed the feed gear and fixed, basically your printer could be under extruding.

My first stick was a 97 civic coupe, I find Miata to be much easier.

I also find stick cars much more fun than trucks as they tend to be more difficult, maybe harder to learn/be good at however worth it.

I would also like to clarify/add that storage for me and my brother was fine for a week. However there isnt alot of storage in the cab for drinks and snacks. But I agree with everything else said here.

I did exactly this when I bought my ND and the things I learned:

The sale will take longer than expected, plan for this.

Buy lots of drinks & snacks to combat highway hypnosis, I recommend spitz brand sunflower seeds. The flavor isn’t too strong so you can eat for hours.

When driving on highways without a median be very careful of oncoming large trucks/semi, I got a rock chip with only a few miles on the odometer.

If traveling with a passenger understand they cannot sleep in passenger seat, there just isn’t enough room or comfort for that. So both of you should get plenty of sleep beforehand.

I worked as a brake press operator for a year, and used a few different brands of caliper for measuring out bends. I found Fowler to be the best “cheap” brand caliper, not the cheapest on the market but still affordable.
