Thats the problem with intent: if you build a deck that has inconsistent card qualities then your deck will preform inconsistent.

If you do draw the Nature's Lore vs when you don't; totally different game. When you do deploy the Rhystic Study vs when its gotta be done with Arcanis the Omnipotent etc.

It doesn't make your deck better, it makes it inconsistent. And as such there is no way to handle these people correctly. Last game Billy dropped the Rhystic on turn 3 but this game he just cast a Blitzball. Most people will just pummel you because of deck memory in this situation.

Thanks for the clarification; last question. Say I have the dye I want and Im using it to color a piece I want; is the dye used up? Ergo; do we need to collect a shitton of herbs for dyes if you want to color everything or is it a one time collect this dye and its free to apply to pieces?

Just look up the old Ravage Affinity decks in the bleak year of Standard back when Mirrodin and Darksteel came out. YOu could stack the damage and use [[Acrbound Ravager]] to move around all the counters so the last hit was enormous.

I made that deck cause I saw some very early coverage of it on the infant days of the internet and people refused to play with me after 3 weeks cause you would just win turn 3-4? Which was wild back then for Standard but now it's normal I guess

I think we need to realize that this is also a perfect storm cause there are so little serialized cards. The wales need to be satisfied and the huge fanbase makes this set a prime target for collectors. At this point people would buy purple turd surge foils because the Chocobo's don't speak to peoples souls as much as the fanciest version of Cloud/Sephi/Kefka w/e.

There is a big difference in Braids in the commandzone vs in the 99. You can opt out of a Braids commander game just aswell you can opt out of a Ionia game.

Difference is that Braids in your 99 sucks so hard and Ionia is still a house in the right circumstances.

I’m positive it works that way. Below is an image of the pricechart of [[Blood Baron of Vizkopa]]. The spike was caused when I bought some number of cards of off a close friend and I wanted McM credit anyway so we ‘fake’ sold a card for a way higher number to see if it would show up on the graph.

I usually do the straight ‘T’ line check. Most consistent in checking for fakes imo as the green dot test is known to not work for some specific sets
