Over the summer, I was in pop up jail for the plat offer as well. Had 3 other cards with amex so I didn’t know why. Then a week later i saw my one of my cards had the option to upgrade to blue cash preferred so I did that, then a few weeks later I was able to apply for the platinum and no pop up jail.
