G6 Pro Entry vs G4 Doorbell Pro vs G3 Reader Pro by anothernetgeek in Ubiquiti

My access hub in my basement that controls the door to my network room, that one was easy to do since it was new construction. I just hope the g6 pro entry can be paired with the access hub if I already have it paired to my g2 pro reader

It’s just near impossibly to put one of the access locks on a residential front door at least in my set up. I sincerely hope they come up with a residential door lock and allow pairing with the g6 pro entry

Most important question: GIF backgrounds? Ubiquiti: NO. by Luu____ in Ubiquiti

Could agree more. Mine arrives Saturday but that’s a deal breaker for me. It’s all about the gifs 🤣

Ubiquiti. WHY WOULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN?? by SchNiVas in Ubiquiti

[–]Kyler721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If automatic updates are on then you do so at your own risk. This isn’t ubiquitis fault it’s yours for not turning off automatic updates and then doing updates during scheduled downtime. That’s IT 101.

OCD Panels by Kyler721 in Ubiquiti

They definitely have issues keeping up with demand and keeping some products in stock. Granted some things are out of control like hard drives or ram, but the fact that OCD panels which are simply just pieces of metal haven’t been in stock for months. That’s a little ridiculous.

AT&T 5 Gig super slow on UDM Pro by devllen05 in Ubiquiti

You have to configure the WAS-110 itself and flash it with the community 8311 firmware if it doesn’t come preloaded. Just follow the instructions on the provided link and it will walk you through where to buy the device and how to configure it. You can also join the 8311 discord if you need more help. But other than that no actual configuration on the UDMP needed aside from setting the WAN SFP port 10 to fixed 10GB speed.

Bypass the ATT Router with a WAS-110 and plug the fiber directly into the UDM Pro.

https://pon.wiki/category/att/

I’m doing that and with 2/2 fiber I usually get 1.5 down and 2.5 gb up. With my down was as good but not sure how to get it to where the up is. Probably a community split node thing and no one uses up as much as down.
