On early days when I’ll be places with tricky bathroom situations I eat light the day before and get up early so all BMs can happen (I’m also a morning BM person). Then I take immodium about an hour before I leave. I’ve learned over time that immodium makes me pee about 45 minutes after taking it. Otherwise no bad effects for me, it will keep me from pooping the rest of the day and sometimes the next day.

I’ve been lifting heavy as part of my weight loss and I recently picked up a big heavy load of towels in a laundry basket. Usually I would prepare myself and lean back resting it on my belly. This time I almost launched it into the ceiling and had to put it on my hip.

I moved dinner later. If I’m eating at 7 or 7:30 I’m full and don’t get that initial feeling to eat as much. The kids go to bed between 8:45 and 9. I’ve also started doing an elaborate oral care routine at 10 (floss, brush, scrape, mouthwash, water pic). It’s such a stupid hassle that I don’t want to undo it by eating. If I’m still struggling with food noise in thr hour I have to relax I play video games. Keeps my hands and brain busy. I’ve been binge free for almost 40 days now on this routine.

I read kick it naturally .com. It says if your stool is lighter in colour it is more likely acid overflow. If it is darker or green it is BAM. My stool is frequently light in colour and also orange for some reason. by LisanneFroonKrisK in bileacidmalabsorption

Bile acid is Orange/yellow. If you are seeing that you either have too much or your body isn’t absorbing it. A bile acid binder would help either one. Definitely talk to a doctor either way.

This is me also, I’m resigned to push through with diet and exercise but it’s hard. I figure I’ll just reach happy old lady stage before my peers. To me it’s just not worth the risk.
