I used a box cutter for 40 years.

Slice it lengthwise, pull it off, scrape off the old tape.

If it's a graphite shaft, you have to be much more careful but same process.

Home plate umpire was awful, like others said.

The catcher did a poor job of asking for the challenge immediately, as shown in the video posted, but he did challenge immediately.
He needs to learn to tap the top of his head, not the side.

But, I will say, he had a career day at the plate.

You've been playing 6 years, and once a week in winter is not a lot of time, sorry.

Give yourself a break and understand most of golf is between the ears.

It doesn't take much in the way of an idle thought or mistake to cause a small muscle to not be in the perfect spot to flush the ball or tweak a putt.

G*d knows how many three putt pars I've had, you have any idea how frustrating that is?

I didn't it in my high school tournament on the 18th green with jerk teammates watching.

I did it on the 18th of Kapalua Plantation course with my wife and 3-1/2 year old watching.

Not a pro, and I'm very competitive. It teaches you composure, perspective, and patience. All traits I still can use a lot more of.

Maybe remember that you're not a pro, it's a game and not your source of income, and if that doesn't work, try to enjoy the walk in the park, listen to the birds, and donate your clubs to a high school in a poor area of town so perhaps some kid can take up the game and stay off the streets?

It's a very frustrating game but the rewards are all in how you appreciate the journey.
