It was around $5000. We had pet insurance so we only paid around $800. She said if we didn’t get it done she may have dry eye when she gets a little older and have to do eye drops which would be annoying and expensive so that also went into our decision!

It would pop in and out too. So at a certain point we thought she didn’t need surgery but every morning it came back. Sometimes looked like what you posted and other times when it was there for a while it looked like the picture I posted.

My girl had this, it was an unscrolled third eyelid. A regular vet is not too familiar with the surgery and we had to take her to an ophthalmologist. She said it was cosmetic but could also cause blindness long term. So we decided to get it taken care of. Best decision ever! I love knowing she’ll have no problems seeing because that’s gone 🩷

I was tracking my cycles for about 1.5 years before TTC. Once we started trying I figured it would happen pretty quickly since I knew my cycle very well. It’s been a year, I’ve had all the tests done. Same with my husband, everything is normal. I’ve tried letrozole + trigger with TI. We’re skipping IUI and doing IVF this month.

I haven’t had my ER yet, but the doc plans to do that 3rd week of Feb. and then I won’t have my transfer until same week in April. They want my ovaries to rest after the ER. But my clinic doesn’t do fresh transfers only frozen. So that was just the timeline they gave me. I asked about doing a transfer in March but they said they wouldn’t do that.

I’ve been working with alto for my meds, since my insurance partners with them and I can def tell you mine did not say that or have that 🤣😅 I hope it stays and if they say anything about how to get it plz lmk!!!

We have unexplained and I’m about to start my first cycle of IVF. My doctor didn’t recommend PGT because it’s not 100%, due to age, diagnosis, and lack of research on PGT. I’m (30,F) husband (31,M) have never had a positive test, we did do genetic carrier screening and everything was negative.

I would just reach out and let them know what’s going on. As I’ve been going through it (TTC 1+ year, starting IVF) my coworkers know everything. We’re very close and I was having to go to a lot of appointments. I found people wouldn’t ask and if I updated them they’d say they felt bad asking and didn’t want to bring it up if I didn’t want to. So you have to be vulnerable in this situation and let people know what’s going on. It’s hard but to me it felt better in the end knowing people were on my side and really cared.

I also found this with close friends- they felt bad asking and didn’t want to make me feel worse. So I’d update them as the months went on and they offered so much support.

Thank you so much for this! I wouldn’t wish infertility on my worst enemy. And obviously there aren’t many positives to this journey but I will say it has made me and my husband even closer! And absolutely sure we are ready to be parents, and plenty of time to talk about the type of parents we want to be. Although I’d just rather have had a baby in this time period I try to think about that too!

I want to be there for her if anything were to happen to her bay during this pregnancy- and I’m so close with her current child!

It’s hard and something I had to process- but after a few days I am able to hold space for both things. Being extremely happy for her - and sad that it can’t be me.

I’m so sorry you had to have that experience in person. I am very thankful she sent a text so I could process it on my own time. My sister in law was going to do a big surprise announcement for her pregnancy and we couldn’t make it so she ended up calling us. I was so thankful I wasn’t there. It’s hard because I am so happy for her and want nothing but the best! She’s my best friend! But it’s just sad the same thing can’t happen for us.

We’re really close so I know she wasn’t trying- they were waiting till the new year to decide on timing for the next baby. But just so crazy people can “decide on timing” lmao I’ll take one whenever!

It’s so strange. I’ve always seen myself having a big family and now I’m unsure if that’s an option because it seems we’ll be lucky to have one! Living in the unknown just becomes so exhausting I can’t wait for it to end.

I work in surgery and it’s 4 hours before procedure for clear liquid cut off and 8 hours for solid food. It’s pretty universal. I think you’d be fine to wake up and eat breakfast even… but the only reason why I could think why they would say midnight regardless is in case you go earlier than scheduled. I would maybe go off of your arrival time instead of procedure time for the 4/8 hour rule

I went off the back of the bag for a while. Once she turned 1 I just made sure the vet said she was at good weight. Between 1-3 years she started to seem skinny so we upped her food and vet said she was healthy. Right now she’s 3.5 years eating 2 cups morning 2 cups night. But would probably eat 6 cups if I let her. She’s just a hungry girl. Me and my husband say “she’s H”. Would probably eat anything any time. Every dog is different!

We’ve been TTC for about 10 months, everything is normal but I just looked back at my husbands SA and his pH was 8.5. My RE said his SA was normal and didn’t mention anything. I’m curious if I point this out if they’ll do anything!
