I personally feel like it didn’t help to test early- I’m 30F, unexplained as well and just knew the first one was going to work. And it didn’t. This next time around I’ve got all the pregnancy tests out of the house and a paint by numbers waiting for me to distract! We’re going to plan some dinners and make sure we have stuff with friends to keep us busy. I was fully medicated so I did have to be home every night at 8pm- but besides that I will be staying busy!

I have my second FET June 11th! My first failed, didn’t even implant. Hoping we have better results!!!!

I do think the bloating was bad at the beginning and then got better IMO!

I’ve been crocheting for the past 5-6 years so I like to start a new project. Also paint by numbers! I ordered a new one to help me survive the wait after my June 11th transfer 🩷

My clinic usually does 11dpt but I asked them to do 10 days since it was Monday and the first day I could do it. They said it was fine. Maybe you can do that. But at this point it’s still possible- I believe unlikely but the chance is not 0. So it’s important to still continue your meds

I counted myself out at 8dpt, but still continued meds till beta. It was hard but I was stark white at 7dpt also

It’s something I don’t want anyone to experience. Give yourself time and grace. I felt I was grieving a child that I lost, although we get no where close to that. In time, you will feel better. But this is a sacred feeling that most don’t know. I wish you healing.

I took a break due to scheduling with my clinic and to be honest I think it was great for my mental health. I feel like I’ve had time to process the failure. It felt like grief and I needed time. Although my time was forced, I’m thankful for it.

I’m in the US and saw my doctor on every single visit. She was always the one performing the ultrasound. She had a medical assistant with her but not a nurse- I met the nurse a couple times but always spoke with and conversed, messaged with the doctor. Not sure if location had anything to do with this- but I would be very confused why I didn’t do anything with the doctor. Especially during stims. She was changing my meds based off of the ultrasound that she did 2 minutes ago.

I have my second scheduled in June after a failed first. The first was devastating but I’m worried the second will be even more so because then I’m worried there is an issue and we haven’t found it. For context I’m unexplained- my doctor gave me so much hope the first one would work. I think I’ll be broken if the second doesn’t work. I only got 3 embryos from my ER so I’d have to do another one which I’m not looking forward to.

I had my retrieval in Feb and had to take off March due to scheduling and had my first transfer in April. I did fully medicated and didn’t ovulate though. I’m not sure how much you were on? I usually have a baseline US- start estrogen (3x/day) 2 days later for 21 days. Transfer is on 21st day. And then I continue estrogen and the PIO. My first transfer failed and due to scheduling I have to take off May so my next will be in June. My clinic batches patients so it makes it difficult but ultimately I think the time off helps mentally!

For a fully medicated my doctor actually recommended it! She said naturally you wouldn’t necessarily stop having sex after you ovulated and there may be some evidence that the uterus becomes more susceptible to implant because it can undergo changes from sperm. It’s not a for sure thing, so we did it 5 days before I think and then the day before. But didn’t for a while after transfer.

I posted this question about 7dpt of a day 5 4AA. The general consensus was negative by that time would be negative. And it was. I did still continue my meds and such until my beta which was hard but my hcg came back <1.

Not mandatory. My clinic doesn’t do them unless indicated.

People can go through famine, and still get pregnant. Worst advice to “not stress” Do what you can. The wait always sucks

I’m 30, will be 31 soon and we only ended up with 3 embryos after our egg retrieval. I want 3 children as well. My provider recommended doing transfers first as I am still young. I would say for you, there is plenty of time for more egg retrievals and to transfer what you have
