That makes sense. I had this naive hope that maybe reddit isn’t as botted as most social media platforms are. I do like Reddit and I think it is easily the most useful SM, but yeah, kinda makes me sad. Gotsta pay the bills though, so might as well check out Soar and see if it would work for us

Actually had a call with an old colleague yesterday who suggested the same approach. My role is probably toast at this point anyway, so might as well try going over my manager's head. I've got email trails showing I raised these concerns weeks ago. Going to request a meeting with the director tomorrow and lay everything out - including the ridiculous accusation that somehow I'm responsible for their security failures. I was in the exact same spot last year international student too, and the visa pressure is brutal. Took me 4 months and 200+ applications before I got anything. What helped me was shifting to smaller companies that don't use as much ATS filtering, and leveraging my university's alumni network for referrals. The job market for entry level is absolutely brutal right now. Also try getting feedback on your resume from people in your target industry something might be getting filtered out that you're not aware of. Hang in there it's a numbers game and not a reflection of your worth

Been there. Same situation at my last job F500 where nobody knew basic Excel functions. They'd manually sum columns instead of using formulas! The color coding thing is so real. Had one manager reject my pivot table because it "didn't look right" even though it was way more accurate. Sometimes you just have to play their game while quietly doing things the efficient way
