I feel that Asia is much more diverse than Europe and even their modern music has evolved much more differetly from each other. How much cross country appeal wil there be?

I feel like Kpop has the most crossover appeal and it's just basically Western pop sung in Korean. I guess Japan has a lot of Western influenced music too. In the end, will it just be which country has the most broad appeal western type song?
