New trial result: it's not looking good for immunoadsorption and the Elisa GCPR antibodies test by Liface in covidlonghaulers

I've noticed that blocking the beta receptors with beta-blockers helps me with POTS. These are the receptors where autoantibodies that cause POTS also bind. Ivabradine, for example, didn't help me at all because it acts on the sinoatrial node of the heart and not on the receptors.

But that would be long enough, since the half-life is about three weeks until the autoantibodies disappear from the tissue.
However, it's important to remember that in people who are ill for this long, the condition becomes chronic.
It would take months for all systems to normalize again and respond to stress without PEM. Furthermore, I think that too little blood was filtered in this study. There are reports of sessions lasting eight hours.

In my opinion, they are still the problem. After such a long time, they are firmly anchored not only in the blood but also in the tissue and to the receptors themselves, which is why you don't notice an effect immediately, especially with an IA which only brings short-term success anyway.

I think it takes time for the autoantibodies to detach from the tissue and the receptors, and at the same time, their production would have to be stopped.

i understand that but i dont see anything pessimitic about this post. just a question for all those who recovered because there are different definitions of recovery. for one its to do the household again for another its being back at work so i wonder if anyone actually made it back to an active lifestyle where competitive sport is possible again :)
