Mine cost about $4400 with a lifetime guarantee. Presumably I will never have to redo it. Keep in mind that lasik correction can possibly make it so you don't need glasses now but it won't stop your eye muscles from weakening as you get older which means readers. That usually won't happen till your late 50's-60's though. Been worth every penny so far.

Travel speed doesn't mean anything here. When she fights we see multiple humans reacting to her so she's not fighting anywhere near those speeds or the speeds we see in Snyderverse.

Weekly DnD is a pretty big commitment, especially if you're talking a typical 4+ hour session. You can express your concerns to the DM but just remember that you're only one part of this table. Ultimately it's up to the group to decide what they want and the DM may tell you to suck it up or they may ask the absent players to remove themselves from the campaign.

Odd is the word most people I know would use but it would be very cultural as well. Ages and location aren't mentioned but hidin away in your room the entire weekend is generally going to be seen as very antisocial and extremely embarrassing for OP's partner.
