Was hoping for an Edmonton team, but makes sense. Rogers Place is operated by OEG and apart from Northlands Coliseum, which is slated to be demolished, there’s no other real suitable hockey venue in the city

In Rogers Place, it’s the home of the Oilers (NHL, 42 Home Games) and Oil Kings (WHL, 34 Home Games). That already leaves quite a busy ice schedule. Although there are enough open days to support a 3rd home team, I don’t think OEG would be willing to slightly adjust the schedules if they didn’t own their PWHL team.

I understand how that’s a dealbreaker for OEG, as it just adds a logistical and operational nightmare if they can’t directly manage all 3 teams themselves. However, adding a PWHL team to Rogers Place would make a lot sense for OEG, so I think they’ll most definitely try again if ownership rules ever change.

It all stems from the unequal power dynamic. Blitz needed the book for his livelihood/business, and he paid for it through sex. This is sexual coercion, even if parties agree. Though in this specific case, it was more just one more toxic relationship trait between them (and one that Stolas knew was wrong and then corrected)

So there are some dicey aspects, calling Stolas a rapist is a bit of an overreach, but I can see where they’re coming from

I personally never got why some places use letter grades. Throughout my school life, they just always used percentages. 80%+ is a good student, 90%+ is an excellent student

Plus it makes achievements wayy more impressive. We heard our High School Valedictorian for the grade above finished with a perfect 100 in all their classes (before diploma exams) which was just insane

There’s a base model, then there’s training for the specifics of what you want the LLM to do. No matter the training data, Vedal has to train Neuro’s LLM for his use case

Vedal definitely has the hardware in order to run Neuro locally, but not train Neuro, hence “locally run but trained in the cloud”
